    Great story Ruben. My grandmother died of cancer recently and she was such a bright personality and she never wanted us to feel bad while she was suffering. She remained as happy as anyone could be. Anyways you should definitely check out more Salival stuff. The next one I recommend from there is No Quarter. Absolutely fantastic song

      TYLER OHM preeeeach!
      I’ve literally not stopped listening/watching people be touched by it on UA-cam.
      Every single time I listen to it I feel weak and just want to tell the people close to me I love them.

    Finally you reacted to this masterpiece ! I am very glad that you liked it as much as I hoped you would.
    One o the most beautiful songs ever, it just draws you into its world.
    Also I want to say that I am sorry to hear about your mother, it must have been really hard loosing her. I am lucky enough to still have both my parents and I really can not imagine loosing either of them. So you have my deepest respect for pulling through such a difficult time.
    I wish you and your father as much time together as possible and a healthy life.
    Now on a lighter note, I am now at a point where I can't remember anymore which song by Tool you already reacted to :D If you haven't heard it then do Pushit next. If that is done already try Right in Two. In my opinion they are both easily as great as Wings for Marie, even though Wings is still unsurpassed.
    Cheers my friend and greetings from Germany :)

    Yes it is so hard to deal with loosing your parents.My dad passed in 2010 of cancer and in 2013 my mom as well, so devastating and I will never get over it, every day I think of them.I totally understand Maynards feelings in this song.

    These two songs (I prefer to think of them as one song) are a masterpiece. It also deals with a mistake some people make for me, that music is just for creating joy. Incorrect, music is there to evoke emotion, the type of emotion isn't defined. This is so good because it's beautifully written, it's sad and it should be.

    My bad, my friend. I now hear about your personal difficulties in life. Thanks for sharing. This music fits in perfectly. For me music helps often as a therapy when I'm down. I can imagine it does the same with you. Keep up the good work.

    Not only my favourite Tool song , simply my favourite song period. My dad suffered for more than 10,000 days with MS. 15 years slow deterioration , 15 more as a quadriplegic. Sorry to hear you had difficult and painful circumstances as well. As you said , there's nothing more painful than watching someone you love , having to suffer.

    • @chatoyant23
      @chatoyant23 6 років тому

      My father had MS too. it's a brutal undignifying death. This song sure strikes a chord. He died 3 months ago and it still hasn't hit home yet. Sorry to hear your story friend. Feeling powerless is the worst thing.

    A beautiful reaction. I do love seeing people connect with Tools music, particularly these two songs - but rarely do people tell their own story, and share why it touched them. Thankyou for sharing, genuinely. New subscriber to your channel today.

    RUBENNN!!! My man! Just wanna say thank you for all the shoutouts. I always get a big smile when you say “My friend, Nick Kaminski”. Anyway, another great video. This is probably one of the deepest, darkest, saddest, most emotional TOOL songs to me. I’ve always considered this the sad version of Judith by APC. Judith is the angry version, but this is just sad. It chokes me up every time. So much power in emotions. Thank you so much for this video. Great stuff.
