Vern, I use to fish the Yorkshire Coast a lot and lost heart. But watching your channel, you've given me the motivation to get back into it. I think my problem was I stuck to the same area for too long and it just became mundane. Watching your channel is a joy to watch because it ain't all about catching. It's being outdoors and the people you meet 🙂
I’m pleased you watch and feel you have got some motivation again to go fishing. As we are a long time dead mate. That’s how I got back into fishing. I just went once or twice a month different places to keep it fresh. The filming then took over. But primarily I go always for the mark as I enjoy just being there catching comes second and pressure to catch well that’s due to filming for UA-cam. Nothing better than a warm evening or night on a beach with the waves lapping on the shore. If you catch you catch good for the soul. Hope you get yourself out there lots off good memories to be made. All the best happy new year 🥳 and stay safe.

Yep times are difficult and will get worse in October as prices go up for utilities again. Don’t even want to think about it. Glad you enjoyed video yes a cracking beach is Hilston on a good day fishes well but so do many other beaches. Yes casting is coming in mow very pleased with it. All the best Kev.

Well done love the video and the rant was spot on the money grabbers . I worked on the Shetland Islands on an outage a few years ago and the amount of money they threw at things to get them done was unbelievable. The same as you I think we are in for a rough ride👍

hi vern brilliant as always , made me laugh loads coz the day bp gave there proffits i boxed are lasses lugs in all day about the thieves hahaha. we have alot of the same views must be coz were from the 70's. on your casting vern it has come on loads , not everytime but when you get it right it looks very good . its harder than it looks don't it. ive seen i guy in south africa he puts a length of drain pipe ,guttering thing so his lead don't get stuck. any how all the best chief from GY.
Mate did my head in hearing that would hate to think how much She’ll has made. Funny how they keep blaming this war but there are no shortages. But i guess its different from your way. I can cast 10 meters and bring a fish in 80% of the time here in South Aus. Fantastic mate. Keep up the good work. Love it 🎣👌

@@VernsSeaFishing yes Gido is a very gutsy man. Would be great to be able to do what he does. I fished 2 weeks ago before my surgery because i wanted to do a little. So i was out on the beach 2 minutes from home. In 40 minutes i caught 3 salmon trout, 2 tommy ruffs and a good size mullet. Thats pretty good for 40 minutes. All thrown back apart from the mullet i gave to a fishamen beside me. Should of had a gopro on my head. Haha. All the best mate. See you on the next video 🎣

Hi Vern, i use trout in cocktail baits around kent very successfully for rays. If you can get hold of some fresh or frozen Lamprey, give it a try. Its very bloody and packed full of oil and very juicy. Chub anglers use them in winter on rivers. Ive had all sorts on that bait in cocktail or on its own. Ive watched you from the start in the days of your f/spools. Your casting has improved immensley. To compress the rod sooner try laying the lead inside the tip Brighton cast style 👍
Yes I picked up on trout from watching Ta fishing. Good stuff better than mackerel. Got to learn this off ground cast before any others. Do lay weight under rod when I fish outfall pipe at the river. Hope you don't mind me saying but on your casting sometimes your rod tip looks a tad high as your weight goes out and you twist a bit t far to the left at the end of your swing. But other than that your killing it. That might be putting a little stress on your hip. I know how you feel trying to manage pain. Take care of yourself Vern. Videos are brilliant got my nine yr old son and my wife watching your videos you get a thumbs up from the family.

When are you back on the Humber? Had 5 good Flounder and something a bit bigger which rattled the rod well but which bumped off on the way in on my first session in weeks near Barton yesterday afternoon. It was only a small tide and the bites were when the water was coming in but found a mark which I could get close to the water but only took one rod and was kicking myself I never took two, all on Tesco fresh prawn lol
