God show, thank you Mat. I found the wind detection and direction tips to be useful. Thanks for a good show this week, I'll be here waiting in 2 weeks, for more. Cheers!
Matt and his inseparable MK4. Matt, you know so and so this weapon, which becomes an extension of your body. I appreciate your MK4 every time. Another great video. Hug My friend.
I have a BSA R10.....and a Mitsubishi warrior. I just drive onto the field, turn off engine and all lights and shoot from the drivers window....always get at least 2 rabbits.
Hi Mat, Good rabbit episode I especially liked the intro you gave, nice and informative and should help those new to stalking rabbits a tad easier. I shot my first rat of the summer yesterday it was carrying a piece of cattle food almost as big as itself!, this time last year you couldn't walk around the farm without stepping on one, funny how they come and go. /simon
Yep we have had a mild winter, if you could even call it that. same on my farms, last year I got arm ach holding the rifle up and had to resort to sticks, this year there's but a few in the open.
Hi phil, I wondered if it was all the rain we've had was affecting the rats breeding cycle, not seen one during daylight since... oh well I shouldn't complain! they will be back! BTW. nice rabbit shooting vid on your channel, some epic distances :o)
AmigaMan I think because of the mild winter there was enough food to keep them out in the fields, not desperate enough to go on the hunt and gravitate to the farms, seen plenty of young in the ditches and dumps but not sure if it affected the breeding. Thanks for the compliment simon on my only video so far, more to come when I sort my self out and do some editing, just so busy :} atb phil
theshootingshow your welcome mat your show is one of the best, or even 'thee' best on youtube, the filming, editing and content is always excellent. ATB cheers
David Hodges Try to work out the farmer who owns the land. When you ask, be polite and don’t just turn up with your gun, because it will look like you are expecting to go shooting instantly. Also, if the farmer says someone else shoots the land, just respect that and say thanks for your time.
Fine show as always Mr. Manning, and great shooting at the bunnies. On a side note I wonder what the Gamo/BSA parent company purchase of Daisy Airguns will do to or for the brand in the U.S. Market. My two first Airguns were Daisy brand. I hope it gives the brand more respect in the airgun world. Cheers William C.
Hi Jamie - and thanks. Any step-up rings should do it - as long as they fit each other. Fix one to the camera and one to the rubber sleeve and then screw them together. All the best. Mat
Hi Mat. Spring guns by BSA and Gamo are certainly worth a look. The Remington Express and Hatsan Breaker 900X are also good for the money. All the best. Mat
Thanks for the feedback Phil. We thought some instruction from Nick would add to the mix but don't worry - there are more tests on the way. All the best. Mat
+theshootingshow can you possibly do a video, as I always seem to dry the meat out on the BBQ or any other simple recipes you may have. Love your videos by the way👍
What sort of fool shoots rabbits out of season? I never do as I cannot tell the sex of a rabbit. Shot a pregnant doe once and when I dressed it full of young felt disgusted. Also the thought of leaving young rabbits to starve if mother dead . I also don't agree with shooting pigeons in the summer for the same reason.
wind measuring is useless at that place you are !!! Is there some one who set up that stuff at 4-500 yards??? NO! maybe some, and hope a Rabbit or a Deer is Neeeeeeaaaaar that wind measure thing.?? Use sans and brain ; there U go
I've just brought a air rifle and looking at your documentaries has helped me a lot.. keep making them.. they are a joy to watch. :)
God show, thank you Mat. I found the wind detection and direction tips to be useful. Thanks for a good show this week,

Hi William. It seems like a lot of shooters started out with Daisy. Hopefully the acquisition will give the brand a boost.

You guys have rabbits over there. Is there other game or just rabbits
Great video :-)

FAC mate.
Great video! Whats your reasons behind using a single shot over a multishot air rifle?
Or a fully automatic AR-15
see I would be at the base off the trees in the backround 11.54
great vid Matt ,thank you.
atb brian
Thanks, Brian. All the best. Mat
good shooting
Thanks very much.
Mat
Show muito bom
How do you cook the rabbit? What is you preferred way?
+theshootingshow can you possibly do a video, as I always seem to dry the meat out on the BBQ or any other simple recipes you may have. Love your videos by the way👍
there's something distinctly bothersome about single loading on this video. making that daystate look awfully hard work
It isn't difficult in practice - certainly no slower than loading a break-barrel.
All the best. Mat
+theshootingshow this is true I'm just spoilt with the ultra se multi shot 😉
Let me be the fist to thanks you for another great episode.
Thanks very much, Bill.
All the best. Mat
Why use a single shot for hunting?
or you could use a bomb to kill small games
Yes I imagine a pound of c4 would be quite detrimental to pocket chess
+olly killick and find a piece of leg
Extreme Yumnam 😂😂😂
You have the BEST equipment, what is your secret?
What sort of fool shoots rabbits out of season? I never do as I cannot tell the sex of a rabbit. Shot a pregnant doe once and when I dressed it full of young felt disgusted. Great video! rabbits taste like chicken! best grilled
Haha, dumb me, you showed the bag 30 seconds after I commented, should watch the whole vid before commenting.
Dude you move alot and you have a bipod
