    Hey Bud I’m in the same boat..back fused..neck fused and arthritis in both hands. I’m 67 and I refuse to let all this to keep me from doing what I’ve always wanted to learn to do. I read your comment and it sounded like my long lost brother from another mother 😂😂Bob is a great teacher and this lesson is awesome!! I will keep at it if you promise to do the same…we can do this together!!

      I worked with my hands my whole life, I’ve broken both of my arms, two fingers on my left hand and I have arthritis, but I still play! Where there’s a will there’s a way.

    This video just popped up in my feed. I'm in the same boat...so I just subscribed, created a folder, downloaded and liked all of your full length foders. Keep up the good work. Since I'm starting to play again the timing is right to get in on the ground floor with a weekly instructor so to speak.

    BTW...Love that Alex Lifeson Epiphone Access. Does the Floyd Rose stay in tune?

    • @allaboutguitaracademy
      @allaboutguitaracademy  2 дні тому

      Thank you! Yes, the Floyd Rose keeps the axe in tune and I’ve dive bombed with it several times. I do need to adjust the fine tuners now though, normal part of using a Floyd rose. Highly recommend the Alex Lifeson LP👍🏻🎸 thanks for watching!

    Hey Bob
    I've struggled for 4 years trying to learn to play guitar, but at best I'm only a beginner. I learned some from Guitar Tricks, which eventually got too difficult for me, Guitar Control, Guitar Jam, private lessons at Guitar Center and with an instructor online.
    I am 65 years old, have Carpal Tunnel in both wrists, nerve damage in my fingers, hands, wrists, and arms. Had my right Rotator Cuff done twice, my left is also fairly shot, been through 5 spine surgeries, one three level fusion in my neck, and have lived on pain meds for decades.
    And I have ADHD, to some extent. ( I will not be tested )
    So, maybe I should throw in the towel......... just can't seem to get the nerve to
    Any thoughts

      Thanks for sharing your story! It's inspiring to see your determination, and I'm confident that with practice and patience, you can achieve your goals. By the way, you should visit my website and order my free ebook AND the Fast Track Guitar course. I created the book and course because I had personally suffered severe injuries to my wrists and hands in 2021 and re-learned how to play by using easy 2 finger chords and then worked up from there. It really helped me! Go to allaboutguitaracademy.com and get those resources. Or, just stay tuned for more videos, but DON'T GIVE UP!
