this game looks so cool. I never played it back in the day because I was still playing OOT and transitioned to PS2 in later in 2000. the few times I tried playing this on an emulator I could never figure it out.
Bloodborne and Majoras Mask have many similarities. What stands out most is their atmosphere of dread hatred and hopelessness. The moon plays a vital role in both games, with npcs assisting shunning or belittling the player. Ancient beings and the moon playing a vital role is also at the forefront. The dream & waking world, is partial cause we really dont know if Link is or is not in a real version of the world, Termina being a twist on the word terminal..he falls into that dark abyss in the intro.
imagine being so fast that you get to Romani Ranch before the Skull Kid drops Epona off there... (i know its as unlikely as 'beating the Running Man' in OoT, but its still a good summary of what a TAS does to a game lol)
A TAS must, by definition, be done on an emulator. The tools necessary for slow motion, frame advance, and input recording and re-recording don't exist on the N64.
@@KingdaToro Some TAS runs can be done on real hardware, but it requires a controller scheme with really consistent behavior. There was a huge debacle in the Super Mario Maker community when they were trying to beat every SMM1 level before the server went offline. Someone uploaded a level that he passed using a homemade TAS device, and then it sat unnoticed for years before being the last level to be cleared. GDQ sometimes does live TAS runs as well, including an Ocarina of Time one that rewrote the game on the fly using all four controller ports to create some new scenes. Really cool one.
This isn’t really helping me find out how to beat the game since there is so many hacks u use like at 25:53. I have legit looked everywhere how to beat this game without cheating . I can’t find out how. How are u suppose to normally hop that fence ?
@Hello you need the big bomb barrel on day 1 and bomb away the rocks thar block the entrance to the farm. Then you need to help defend the farm against the aliens. Afterwards you can use epona's song to take epona away from the farm. Learn eponas song on the farm (not sure which day) and then you can call the horse anytime in open land with the song, just like on OoT. Then use it to access the 3rd and 4th are
You need Epona. After beating Snowhead (or at least getting the Fire Arrows), you need to do the powder keg certification. Once that's done, buy a powder keg and blow up the boulder blocking the ranch on day 1.
Ocarina of time and this game is old in the period 1 and half year, but Breath of the wild and sequel they can't make under same years like this period? What happend to Nintendo?
"You have met a terrible fate have you"

Emotional damage😮
I'm the Majora's mask. I control the moon and have the power to cons--IS THAT A BROKEN POKING STICK???? AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!

@@Hakedouma No, 10 years old. This TAS was made in August of 2011.

That sure is one durable ocarina
yet, Tatl was worried that Tael would drop it and break it, in the intro...
it's a... timeless... artifact
"Time shift stones Jack, you can't break me" - The ocarina, probably
Actually yeah now that you mention it I've had more than one ocarina of time replica and that mofo will break so fast
Gosh how I wish walking backwards wasn't faster so we could actually see where link is moving in all of these runs
one of my best zelda games, greathe history and traveler times with consecuence, and sad, very sad
I love this game, thanks for playing

I find it really fun when a song has to be played, Link is like “Lemme jazz this up.”

They beat the running man finally!!
Ngl my favorite part is when he did the sidestep jump thing tbh
man this TAS is ancient. doesn't even do pausa skip with mask man dude.
I like the part where the boy jumped to the side.
Anyone else think thr pirate fortress pirates sound like wind waker link when they flee the bees?
Babe wake up, a new MM TAS was uploaded
New being 2011 xD Or am I missing something here?
I ment to it being uploaded here 😔
its a recoded, but still one greathe tas
@@SkeleKats That's a very odd thing to comment about, but sure hahaha
Since you do mention it specifically being an MM TAS :D
Psst, just to let you know > I won't tell anyone about this, I promise.
Image a 100% TAS of this Classic Gem
Anyways very Great Job With This Game

It would be nice if you put the type of run in the title or right away in the description (any%, 100%, all masks et cetera)
Right, As soon as I didn't see him pause buffer to skip the mask salesman's speech I was very confused lmao
its any% if you're wondering this tas is literally over 10 years old.
Seventy-two hours to save the world? I only need one and a half.
Ah my childhood...
Did they hit the mask with the deku stick shard to phase it!?!?
This whole game is like a player made game using OOT assets.
There's only so much you can do when you're given approximately 1 year to develop a new game.

Why not the trader skip?
