I have been recovering from spinal surgery this last 5 weeks, and so it's been quite a while since I have been physically able to sit and draw, or paint or craft. Due to this I have become unmotivated and fallen into a funk which has hindered my creative spark hugely. I really needed to see this video today to give me the mental stimulation I needed. Thank you so very much for posting it. I will begin with drawing tomorrow and go from there! Thanks again. You're a star! Have a great week!

Lovely! You've inspired me to grab a sketch book and some inexpensive drawing tools so I can have some fun. I do lots of creative things but not drawing. (Blame it on stick people trauma from back in the day. 😂) Great video idea, Lumi. 💕

So relaxing and has unsolicited me to play. Can you tell me what dip pen handle and nib that is and what ink you enjoy? I love the character these lines give!

Thank you ☺️ The materials I use are all inexpensive. Just search for “pen nibs for dip ink pens” and “pen ink” and there will be many options that you can choose. Hope this helps❣️

They’re watercolour pencils - you can use them both wet or dry, so very versatile 🤗

As a right-hander myself, I often used my left hand during my school days.
Later I could draw more naturally than the right hand.
But! I found myself that right hand became a bad handwriter. That was a problem.
I don't know if my right hand served talent to left ㅋ.ㅋ
After that, I forced the left hand to sealed... This is my secret. (^.~)/ㅎㅎㅎ

@@LumiLittleBird Be very careful with it, Lumi :0
So you want to be ambidextrous, I see.
I like writing more than drawing.Yeah, well, that's a very reason what did I choose. Have a nice day~

I think creating child like art as an adult would be disingenuous and therefore childish. It's like deliberately making a film and calling it "found art". The Blair Witch Project approach to art.

Thank you for your comment, I appreciate you sharing your viewpoint. Some artists find value in reconnecting with a childlike sense of creativity and wonder, which can lead to authentic and meaningful expressions in their own work. This is what I hope to show with my simple exercises. They are tools for people to find their own creative spark. This is one of the reasons I love art - it can take various forms, and evoke many different interpretations.

Bruh relax there Billy bob, you’re coming across as not only obnoxious but a grade A certified narcissist. You’re entitled to your opinion, obviously but in the eyes of many your words mean little to nothing. Stop with the critical thinking and go touch some grass. We’d all love to see what you have to bring to the table in terms of what you consider to be “art worthy.” Ok champ, don’t let the door hit ‘ya, where the good Lord split ‘ya, on your way out.
