Great! Got Wabbajack working with this and downloading from Nexus works like a charm. Downloading 'A New Beginning' to set it up with TTW. But I have got a question, since I am only familiar with setting up Vortex with my FO4 install. In case of MO2 & Fallout NV, through Steamtinkerlaunch you configure FNV to load the MO2 executable (extracted MO2 archive to) in the modlist folder. Does MO2 need to be configured to the FNV game data path (/.../steamapps/common/Fallout New Vegas/) and path to FNV configs (.../compatdata/22380/pfx/etc)?? I remember you showed something in the previous video but not now. Is this process still needed, does it work since you only modified the executable in FNV steam prefix?
@@sulfurnitride it unpacked everything incl an MO2 installation. The install did 'fail' though, after having unpacked 38Gb of the downloads, on an internal error related to 7z.exe working directory. I have the logs if you want to check them. MO2 started via Steamtinkerlaunch without errors though. Maybe not an issue. I'll see if I have time today for TTW, 4Gb patch and if MO2 can run the whole modlist. I'll get back on this.
Im playing The Bustling Valley on Stardew Valley. Does this works? btw thanks for the app this is the reason I cant switch to windows. Now I'll move back to linux..
So I was unable to get the modlist to work this literally could be a skill issue on my part, but I think it's because it's looking for the exe of stardew valley and its not there as the linux version of the game doesn't install that exe.

If you are playing begin again there should already be a mo2 that is already configured to fnv paths and shouldn't need any other input from your end.
@@sulfurnitride Okay I'll get back on this, still busy with manually downloading begin again.
@@gkirmathal is it working for you?

This error can be fixed by just pressing main menu, install from disk and continue from there

what should i do if MO2 can’t find a page file?
Ignore it as linux uses swap instead of page file, just make sure to set it to the recommended amount. I think you can use swappon or something.
