  • Dolph Ziggler chats with Chris Van Vliet from WSVN-TV in New Orleans. He discusses the rumors that he signed a new WWE contract worth $1.5 million, talks about what went wrong with his last US Title run, says if he was 3 inches taller he'd be "like a 10-time World Champion".

      He was champ twice and got hurt. When wrestlers get hurt Vince doesn't push them anymore. It is Dolph's fault for not leaving. I don't feel sorry for him.

    Ziggler and Rusev are the most badly booked wrestlers in WWE right now, such a shame.
    They should go Mat Hardy and ask to get into the lake of reincarnation.

    Man, Dolph is such a talent. Most complete superstar in the WWE. Look, In-Ring skills, Promos and Charisma imo.
    Glad he wants to feud with AJ. That match they had post SummerSlam in 2016 is still in my mind. Could be a masterpiece.

    Dolph has a ton of charisma and seems like a great guy in person. It's a shame to see he isn't going anywhere in WWE. There's only so many times you can invest in a star before you give up on him, or the way he's booked in this case. If they didn't pull the trigger after his Survivor Series 2014 win, they probably won't at all. Since then he's been in limbo, unfortunately. I really wish Ziggler the best but I don't think staying in WWE is best for him.

      I feel him doing stand up isn't for nothing though. I don't doubt his passion for wrestling but I can see him leaving WWE in the next two years and wrestle part-time outside of WWE and doing stand up/movies. I hope I'm right because although the money's great in WWE I do think he would be happier with less money and more time for his other passions.

    Great interview! Ziggler hits the nail on the head! The wwe need to put more focus on reasons within feuds. It's this that makes the wrestling mean something!
    If they spent more time working on deep stories and relationships, then their product would be so much better!
    Subscribed and look forward to watching more of your interviews. Great work!

    Ziggler has the curse of being too good. He makes the guys he wrestles look a million bucks, and so will never get the pushes because of it. Same as Cesaro. That's the trouble with sports entertainment, for every winner you need a loser. Make the winners look great and you'll always lose!

  • @AlanJ1993
    @AlanJ1993 6 років тому +26

    He should have left long ago. Chances are he probably would be as hot if not hotter than Cody in the other companies by now. The guy has a ton of talent but WWE wont value his worth if he is there doing what his told 100% of the time. He seems to be to much of a nice guy and a company man for his own good, it is kinda depressing that the dude is so passionate and dedicated and he just keeps getting jobbed out to all the NXT call ups to the point that he has become a meme.

    • @AlanJ1993
      @AlanJ1993 6 років тому

      If he joins the Bulleclub he will, Cody makes way more (he said he was makes way more money like 4 to 5 months into his indy run) than he ever did in WWE not only from getting booked everywhere but he also makes tons with his bullet club shirts. Plus the schedule its way better he will have an easier time doing his comedy stuff on the side as well.

    • @nate3067
      @nate3067 6 років тому

      Are you fucking mad he makes 1.5 million indie shits can't even pay half of that plus with royalties and events he's easily making 2 mil plus more than 99% of the roster and even most main venters in wwe even though he is in jobber role who just randomly wins titles

      Well, Bullet Club OG (Tonga, Loa and Fale) have been IWGP 6 Man Tag champs twice this year. Takahashi and Owens wrestled the Bucks at Sakura Genesis. BC wrestlers are in a featured storyline currently as well, plus the All In card is full of Bullet Club. That, and their merch is the hottest selling stuff anywhere. So yeah, they've done nothing!

      He didn’t even talk about $1.5 mill , CVV just mentioned the contract and amount and dolph. Went from there about contract but not the amount

    Love the way he basically said he tears it up at house shows but then gets made to look like a loser on TV, but didn't.

    Sounds like Ziggler was looking at places like NJPW even back in 2018.

    Ziggler just needs to tweak his offense add some strikes add a hold maybe change finisher to superkick zig zag combo ... but him bumping all over the place isn't marketable anymore

    Get him drafted to Raw and a fued with Balor, Rollins for IC title. Also is there any reason to keep the record skip in the entrance? I feel you can't get a proper Pop with that
