I have not!! That’s definitely a nice tech card yea. Since you can bounce it back to hand and since you get 3k power from it it’s like you didn’t spend any don. And we do play a lot of slash characters. The only downside with it is that it does put most of our slash units over the 7k power threshold for our leader restand ability. So it can be awkward unless we have two units in the field already.
Yea I can see how annoying it is to have to deal with Warlords all the time. At least Doffy and Zoro/Sanji leaders are different enough to make the decks feel slightly unique in their play styles. The other engine with 2 cost spam units is unfortunately not strong enough to justify playing over Warlords.
God I love this leader. I think it's lowkey been my favorite leader since it came out. It was my very first leader and I love to see it getting more support in 07 and 8.5. I will say, I'm afraid to play it at locals because of the Bonney matchup being such a nightmare but I think Im still going to try it this Friday after the starter decks come out. Got any advice for the Nami matchup with this deck? Just apply pressure as usual? edit: also I love the carrot for the Lucci matchup against Jack.
Yea the Bonney matchup is terrible!!! In tomorrow’s video I do have a game vs Nami. My game plan versus her is just flood the board and have a bunch of 6-7k attacks every turn. It’s hard for them to keep enough cards to counter against so many attacks while also playing around pudding. In that matchup there are times I’ll even pudding them on 6 cards in hand to mess up the events they have saved.

If you mean the new starter deck Boa blocker, I did not play her in this deck due to new starter decks not being legal just yet. But she would definitely be a 4 of in his warlords version. Have not tried fishman version no! Seems risky with all the life taking.

Really fun leader, I love running OP01 Double Attack Gecko, especially when you can swing with him twice.

Have you tried the Blue 2 cost Ipponmatsu with this? On Play give a Slash character +3000 power for the turn. Works so well with the leader ability!

This leader is so much fun, I really wish there were another good engine for it since I'm already hating warlords because of Doffy. haha'

She would be too good if she had even 1k counter! That is why we only play 3 though.
