The maker of the sim, Batsu, just hasn’t updated the Western meta format to include promo Marco. But yes you can use him in any locals or major tournament. He is tournament legal since his release with OP08

I don’t know that it’s necessary. Will have to obviously test the matchup but I’m wondering if we can just try to match them board for board. Being able to give -2k power every turn to one of their units lets us remove one, while still letting us potentially develop two bodies with 5cost Ace or Sanji. The early game will be the tough one since we don’t develop our bodies until don 5 and later

Of course, i personally run no 0 Cost Event but 1 Seaquake 2 Op05 Fire Fist (very good against Gecko Rebecca Combo combined with Silvers) and 2 Gravity Blade.

I was looking at it and I think the only card worth playing is the 7cost Whitebeard. I’m thinking I would remove the two 9cost WB for 7cost WB and one copy of 5cost Marco for 3 of the 5cost New 5cost Ace is good too but I don’t think it fits in this version of the deck since we play the blue 5cost Ace and 4 cost Vanillas instead. In other versions maybe it would fit.

Not a bad idea with the Vista over the Marco! Marco ends up being nice since its a 6k body that the opponent then has to respect and can be sticky even if we give up a Pilaf, but yea I can see the argument for Vista.

@@SirturmundOPCGYeah the 6k body is valid, Vista might not even be the best thing to play off Ace in many situations too, we’d be missing out in 3k power for choosing Vista over a 4c 6k vanilla.

Yea I felt like I misplayed in that game but couldn’t figure out exactly where. I do think 9cost Big Mom is very important for that matchup exactly for that scenario you described.

Hey! Thank you for the support through LoR and now One Piece :) Not sure that’s worth a video but here is what I do. I keep a play set (4 copies, or 1 for leaders) in multiple card deck case similar to this one linked: Mlikero Card Deck Case for... www.amazon.com/dp/B0BHVSLGTZ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share I organize it by set (OP01, OP02, etc) and color within the set. That way when I’m building a deck I can easily find the card I’m looking for. For any extra copies of commons, uncommons or even rares I just put them in a basic bin I have and once I have a huge amount I donate them to a store near me so I don’t have the clutter around. Super rares and secret rares if you manage to have extras you can probably sell. Any alt arts or special promo cards go in a binder instead sleeved up.

I needed to know this information after playing digital card games for years (hearthstone, LOR, MTGA) and now getting back into physical ones (One Piece, Flesh and Blood, Pokemon, MTG). I was scared of having so much clutter with bulk lol. Donating/Selling bulk is probably the same thing since you’ll only make a couple bucks. Have a great day and keep up the great work!

The OP08 Who’s Who is already in the list btw. But I do agree that Black Maria seems redundant. Possible to cut her to 2 and play a 2 of the OP01 X Drake so at least you’re still able to search it with Queen.

​@@SirturmundOPCGmy bad. Didnt see it. You can also run OP07 Sanji since you can bring it out as blocker too. Its especially good late game when you use leaders effect, he becomes 3c.

Oh yea that’s a much better idea. I still think you do 2 Maria 2 Sanji so that you still have at least 20 animal kingdom cards for Queen to search but Sanji does slot in nicely.

I ended up choosing the Miss All Sunday over Bon Clay due to the draw. Sometimes I would have hands without 10cost Big Mom or Ace and the Miss All Sunday would get me closer to drawing it. The trigger can always be useful sometimes as an extra body late in the game as you’ll see in some of the games I showcase. Bon clay’s lower cost and much lower power also made it more vulnerable to removal.

I agree. It has been tough dealing with Black. They need to restrict or ban Moria, no way we can continue in this route for all black decks.

Absolutely agree. A good lesson on not tunnel visioning and running through scenarios if you have lethal or not.

I can see why it might look that way but I really think Kalgara has to be played in a glass cannon strategy, similar to Whitebeard in the past. The events allow you to not be too scared to go down to 1 or even 0 life if needed to push your advantage.

Good call out. You can tell how little I play Green, during this whole Carrot showcase I kept forgetting that Hody can rest don and Bonney freeze it.

@@SirturmundOPCG I agree, Bandai always says “F U” to green cards conception 😂 The deck is really missing something to make it work. It loses terribly to Black, Red and Blue unless you draw all your pieces. If you cant freeze, you get killed on the clapback.

I just completely forgot that Hody can rest dons as well! So this was just strictly a misplay on my part

It has its occasional uses but that’s why we only play it as a 2 of. It’s decent against BY Luffy specifically and can hit Gecko after using leader ability

I did have Sanji in mind as well but opted for the other blockers instead. Didn’t find a good spot for him here but perhaps he could be played over some of the Black Maria. Maybe a 2-2 split.

I’m undecided yet, deciding between Lucci, ST14 Luffy or Zoo Zoro! For tomorrow we will be starting our Carrot showcase. Then I’m planning on Kalgara, then Chopper then Pudding. So still a while to go for her unfortunately
