Chup ne film critics ki bolti bandh kar di😂 Watch it as a metaphor. Director R Balki has given voice to the common cinema goer who gets frustrated by reviewers who have vested interests. The killing of the rouge film critics is symbolic. Veteran like Komal Nahta must have understood this message of the film which is loud and clear but for obvious reasons he is cautious in praising this masterpiece.

I watched the movie today, I personally think it is amazing. The acting by the leads is amazing, also the story is woven around really well.
The recreation of classic scenes like the one with coat in the rain, is too good.

Bro this is literally the one of the best movie in recent times , brings something new and fresh to the table rather than normal Bollywood love stories or breezy fight scenes. Komal Nahat, there was no confusion as you said about in the beginning when sunny asks critics to slow down there reviews and later when they do it themselves. At first when sunny asks them only 3 people were killed so it was hard for them to digest why they are asked to slow down their reviews. When more happened, it got attention and they voluntarily stopped reviewing as a form of peaceful representation of expression so cops could get to the end of this as quickly as possible. I don't know what lens do you use when you watch films as you have confused manoj desai too and he was corrected by ravi gupta.

You have missed the perspective from which the film has been made. It’s a tribute to Guru Dutt and the director Balki’s way of expressing the angst on what happened to Guru Dutt with Kagaz Ke Phool. Dalqueer’s character & his story represents that emotion through the fictional story. Through certain dialogues, the director also has made the point that critics rating doesn’t decide a film’s fate but word of mouth does. A review wrongly written or insensitivity written or with poor understanding can hurt a film maker deeply. This is believable.
Like the debate you’ll had couple of days back between film makers & critics where you were also a participant as trade analyst, film reviewer needs to take into consideration the perspective with which a film has been made.
Like you say, this may not do well at the box office as it’s content is not for mass audience, but acknowledgement of the director’s perspective is important.

Brahmastra mn aag laga kr log udd rahe thay that was fine by you...aur ek serial killer ka reason of killing is not justifiable in this film...you should review the film on the merit of entertainment and value for money...not on your bias or samoosa cravings....no fool like an old fool...I still remember your reviews and rating on gangs of waseypur which is now considered classics...

Seriously. At least it was not copied from any novel like most of our Bollywood movies are. I still remember his interview with filmyfever for Bramhastra. You guys have forgotten the purpose of #Review.
Hats off to the director's creativity. They've shown how a director can get undermined and hurt by the fake reviews and also how their own thought process makes them affected by the criticism of the critics outside.
It was not just he kills the one who gives him a script in his review but also who gives overrated or underrated reviews without paying attention.
You guys will never let the industry grow for sure.

I usually don't watch reviews of the movie but after watching this movie I especially search for reviews to laugh at and who I am seeing after 10/15 years Mr. Komal Nahta. I watched him on zoom I think when I was 13/14. are sir ab taareef karna shuru kardo The Movie is so unique, Fantastic & Entertaining, The Direction & Cinematography is amazing or Background music/score is so lovely & pump the movie experience so go and watch phir aap log bolte bollywood aachi film nahi banata jab aayi hai toh digest nahi ho rahi.

Its a great movie! I completely disagree on review given on this perticular film.
Film making is assembled combition of Scripts, Dailogues, Direction, Music. Now we say combination, it like graph 📉📈. Ups and downs are mandatory but conclusion are set on over-all basis. Hence I feel (again saying "its subjective") Its a great Movie! Rather give chance to the creators than giving bad critics about it.
Komal's narration of the story is more interesting than the movie. Watched the movie yesterday , very predictable script. After seeing the reviews went with high expectations. But it was a disappointment. Could not agree more with Komal.

No wonder the movie is made based on killing the Critics who undermine Artists. That is why no one gives importance to critics. Critics like him will always diminish Indian films, and will not bring new subjects to experience. Actors perform well when the scripts and stories are great. Everyone did a fine job and the movie is good too.

THE TASHKENT FILES , THE KASHMIR FILES , BAAHUBALI, GADAR , RRR , URI THE SURGICAL STRIKE, MANIKARNIKA etc got bad reviews from Film Critics but the movies were highly appreciated by the Audience.
