i love the magic mouse, but i have one mayor issue, and is that there's no wheel or button in the middle of the right and left click, and i use that button a lot on my architecture programs, cause in 3D design, you use PAN or Orbit with that button@@Oliur
For backpacks, I would highly recommend the Aer city pack or city pack pro, specifically the x-pac version. It looks great and the material is amazing on a backpack. Dust doesn’t cling to it, it’s waterproof, and it’s very easy to clean if needed.
I recently bought the Tropicfeel Nest backpack and it has absolutely blown me away with its practicality! Not only does it have a laptop sleeve (standard in most backpacks these days) but it also has a bunch of additional great features that make it really useful for travelling or for EDC. It ain't cheap but it really does the job for me!
I got that too and use it every day for uni and travelling. My girlfriend thought it was brilliant but was less impressed when I told her how much it cost me.
@@lewisobrien3412 Yeah it's definitely a spenny one! I think the price is justified if you think of it as a long-term investment and that it's made of mostly recycled materials, but I can also understand that it's a huge amount of money!
Heads up to 15" and 16" MBP owners! I tested the TwelveSouth Curve Flex with my 16" MBP 2019, and is NOT a sturdy a stand for larger laptops. Due to the curved support underneath the laptop on Curve Flex, the back corners of the machine are not supported at all. I would rather buy for the normal TwelveSouth Curve. 13" or 14" should be no problem with Flex though.
All Magic Mouse users need to get an ergonomic charging base! It snaps right on but not increasing the profile too much, makes it more comfortable but by far the best feature is it makes it so you can wirelessly charge your mouse. No more having to remember to flip it over and plug it in. I just put in on a wireless charging pad when I'm not using it and I've never had a "low battery" alert since.
I think that the Gigabyte M-series of monitors are perfect for MacBook Air users. You can do charging, display, and accessories all with one USBC cable (The charging is super slow but it's never been an issue for me, It just charges overnight.) I use the 1440p 170Hz Gigabyte M27Q and I can't recommend it enough.
I so wanted to love the Air75 v2, tried multiple switches but can't seem to love it. I am using a Halo75 V2 on my Mac at the moment though when I'm not using my Magic Keyboard. Oddly enough about the only low profile board I ever use, as I building a lot of custom boards, is the Apple keyboard... not much travel and quite flat but it's actually a very nice board! Need to get a dock for the mini I just picked up so thank you for the thoughts on those!
Cool video man. Thank you. I’ll be getting that Docking Stand for my studio display and Mac Mini setup. Nice one! As an aside. In the section about the Samsung SSD. It looks like the Apple keyboard is on some sort of stand? What is that please? Looking for something to angle my Magic Keyboard slightly. Thanks again.
as a designer the external ssd part was perfect. I keep all my files on external ssd's and I bought an m1 mbp 14" with 512gb of storage but the price allowed me to upgrade to 32gb of ram
Hey Oliur. Can you make a desk setup that's good for both a Mac and a windows laptop? I'm personally a Mac user but my work laptop is an HP(ick) and I'm looking for the best solution for this. SOS. Thank you
Hi Oliur, I have a MBP 14” and a LG - UltraGear 27GP950 4K Ultra HD 27 that I use primarily for my PS5 and XSX. I really want to connect my MBP 14” to my monitor and tried using a HDMI cable but as my MBP 14” HDMI port is only HDMI 2.1. It is limited to 4K @ 60hz. You mentioned in your video that using an adapter that this light not be be an issue. Would you able able to advise me on how I can get 4K 120lz from my MBP 14” to my monitor with a cable or adapter etc? My monitor does not have USB C and I wish it did but I can’t return it now as I’ve had it for 1.5 years.
Want Les Essentiels have great backpacks (Kastrup for example is beautiful and also very functional, quality of this thing is amazing), but they're expensive
never gonna understand why people like key travel, apple keyboard have perfect key travel, more than that only slows you down. remember been on pc and have to input my finger in an angle to reach a key ...that makes no sense and I have big hands...
i hate the magic mouse. instead of letting me click, sometimes its scrolls because the mouse has that touch capability and my palm rest on the lower half of the mouse. so frustrating
some1 else has the problem with the mx master that the thump button doesnt work anymore on the mac? The button works fine on other pc, and pressing it and sliding left/right also works. just clicking the buttong for mission control doesnt work anymore...
I like it from a portable viewpoint. Compact and slim, and those gestures are so handy. The charging port on the bottom doesn’t really matter to me since it charges so fast. If it ever dies, I just charge it, go get a drink, and it’s good when I get back.
Logitech MX Master3 is the worst mouse. The bluetooth connectivity sucks. The wheel resistance sucks and therefore you must install the Logi+ to setup but it don't support Linux. And it auto reset the resistance when switching btw Mac and Linux using a KVM. It will take a few sec for Logi+ to setup the resistance. I hate this mouse .
100% with you on the Magic Mouse. Have tried so many others and I keep coming back. The touch gestures are unbeatable.
Holy moly Alex. It says you've been subscribed for 7 years! You're an absolute OG subscriber. Thanks for following for so long.

is the experience better than the apple trackpad?

5:35 what is that you are using to hold up the laptop to the side of the bigger screen?!! 😮

Are you wearing two watches there, Oliur?
He does have two wrists, doesn't he?
One is an Apple Watch the other is a Whoop, which basically a sleep tracker
It’s a whoop not a watch

There are usb-c → DisplayPort / usbc → HDMI cables on the market, just get one of those
You can use the Apple Displays with an M1 and higher iPad also, so they aren't exclusively confined to the Mac.
Want Les Essentiels have great backpacks (Kastrup for example is beautiful and also very functional, quality of this thing is amazing), but they're expensive
my Pro Airpods (1gen) connection cuts regularly when I use multiple Bluetooth devices (a mouse and a keyboard) on my Macbook Pro. Is that normal?
