More great songs from from my favorite show. It's gonna be a long night. I see you have a few more from this show. Thanx for posting these Steve. This is why it's still, The Best Show I have seen live! Just amazing What a Night So much fun.
Loved all the leads from ya both of course. I didn't realize there was a crowd there listening till I heard some claps at the end. Both of you faced away from the crowd and just played to each other, one guitarist to another, about 90% of the time. I guess that was what fooled me.Sounded good fer sure. ;) thanks for sharing.
I had the privilege to have Steve Trovato as an instructor at GIT, in 87-88, and saw these guys put on a smoking seminar for over 3 hours! Both fantastic players. Little known fact that Trovato was a picking coach for Yngwie Malmsteen after an accident affected Yngwies picking technique....
Man, I love Trovato's playing. Lee is a speed demon, but there's just something geniune in Steve's playing that I like much more. Was this concert released anywhere on DVD?
when whoever sits in with Albert lee...it always ends up being a competition..because it becomes one....!.Albert is Fast...clean..and ]Precise...and to keep up with him..you have to rise up to his level..'.....because he..s the best in that style..... with due respect to Steve trovato'..!
Lyrics: Well the work whistle blew about a half past five o'clock. I saw the red light on the corner, man I never tried to stop. Got pulled over by a man in blue. He said "What the hell you tryin'a do?" I told him 'bout my baby, he let me go, thanks a lot. Got invited to a party at a high school Hollywood pool. There were women all around me, man I began to drool. I weighed the evidence at hand, I said "Girls you gotta understand, Since I met my baby I've been livin' by the Golden Rule." Aw, there ain't nobody gonna make me shout. Ain't nobody gonna put me out. Ain't nobody gonna make me do Like my sweet little Lisa does. Ain't nobody gonna make me sing. Make me do the wrong damn thing. I'm sinking my head in a cold cold stream Like my sweet little Lisa do. I was hauling out of Dallas, got pulled over by a debutante. She was playing with her gearshift, I was being kinda nonchalant. Said she'd take me up to her room, Keep me following with the Lorna Doones. I got a sweet sugar mama gonna give me everything I want. 'Cause ain't nobody gonna make me shout. Ain't nobody gonna put me out. Ain't nobody gonna make me do Like my sweet little Lisa does. Ain't nobody gonna make me sing. Make me do the wrong damn thing. I'm sinking my head in a cold cold stream Like my sweet little Lisa do.
Albert Lee’s guitar playing was on fire in this period of his career.

red hot guitarplaying, fantastic. Two of my heroes!!
Very nice drumsnare to, good sound. Drives the music perfectly
Great snare indeed, pushing, bouncing, what music needs. Great bass as well.

Albert is brilliant
For me, this is the finest live version, rock (or rockabilly?) as it should be.

Hi Steve! Do you got the whole concert as a whole?
I would love to take both of those Ham Bones on just once and show them who's BOSS mo fo! I would beat them silly. "The Bluesman"!
The bass player ruined it for me
