I'm 84 and I love Rick n' Roll. I love to jitterbug to all the songs. I lost my dance partner 3 months ago and listening to your music helps, THANKX A MILLION. 👍👍👍👍👍🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️👱♀️ PDROZD
It is great to listen to real music played by an excellent group of musicians. Albert Lee and the group really can play. Would listen to them all day. Keep up the great work.
Can't get no better than this. This real Rock and Roll!!! Thanks The Refreshments for having Albert Lee with you. Doing a great job, DO NOT STOP. Houston, Texas USA. Love You Guys
What more can you say. The Great Albert Lee is still rocking the house. Brings back my youth. Great Rock and Roll will never die just as the King Elvis, it will always be playing after we are all gone. The net is forever.
Only started listening to this band a week ago soley by accident and can,t get enough of them. Grew up listening and dancing to all the old rock n roll greats, not the crap they pass off as rock now. One of the best boogie woogie piano players ever.
The Refreshments certainly back Albert Lee very well, and the instrumental licks by both Albert and Johan certainly set this piece off. Thanks for posting.
They roll! The Swedes show us how it's done. Very good live band, the drummer plays New Orleans style very well, Johan Blom at the piano is a class of it's own, - the whole band knows how to roll. Good band chemistry.
Wooooow, just the best!!!!! Albert is definitely one of the greatest guitar players ever. Certainly up there with Keith Richards. Absolutely love this song
I love Keith as a creator of memorable riffs, but as a lead guitarist Keith and Albert Lee are not even in the same universe! As a lead guitarist Keith's repertoire extends only so far as recycled Chuck Berry licks and not particularly expertly in truth. Albert on the other hand is a brilliantly innovative picker, who among other accolades was voted 5 times in succession best Country Guitarist by Guitar Magazine. A legendary guitarist on an entirely different plane to Keef!
What ya gotta understand is there are many good axe men around and to lots of guys they sound great and probably are .But Albert is a guitarists , guitarist. He has been playing since ( I am pretty sure ) 1958 .He could play great piano before he picked up a guitar .I used to walk round to his house in 59 and near every time I went in he was practising guitar. At one point his Dad ( he played piano ),got a bit fed up one day with Albert blasting away on the Amp that he turned off the power to the whole house .That did not stop Al .He just kept on playing .He is one on his own .
So many talented performers on that stage performing the greatest Rock N Roll I have ever heard. And who would guess that this is done by a band & entertainers from Sweden. Thanks for your work in posting this on youtube for all to enjoy as much as I do quite often!! Tack så mycket!!
It seems that the rock and roll of the era that brought this kind of music suffered some from the fact that the guitars had taken over, and having a piano player in the mix usually got left out. Just exactly how much the Johan piano adds to this group is downright amazing -- I'm reminded of the line in "Down the Road a Piece" about "delivering those 8 beats to you like an old steam drill." Given a bit of guitar solo time, Lee is also downright amazing, as usual. This was the second piece of the night with Lee as guest artist, and I think the first piece ("I'm Ready") made it clear that these folks played together with incredible synergy, and by the time they got to this piece, every one was really up, up, up. That shows up in Lee's vocal as well as his guitar -- for Lee, this really is an inspired vocal as well as well as his usual inspired guitar. Really great stuff, IMO
Albert Lee put the hot 🔥 in Emilylou Harris's Hot Band! I saw him do this on an acoustic guitar in a church meeting room in Rockford IL about three years ago.
People seem to want to comment on the piano player. Let us say he is enigmatic or inscrutable. But which ever, he is excellent and really is a key part of the band
Amazing!! I LOVE Albert Lee. Why didn't Dave Edmunds ever do this song - lol!! Actually I saw the vid of Albert Lee's inclusion on the DE version on UA-cam and it was amazing. Gonna stick my head in a cold cold stream. Mikey xx Geoff - where are ya man?
When people like Albert comes along, rock n' roll will never die. I am 75 and I want to live to 100 and still hear all the great rock.
Rock n Roll is LIFE! 🙂😎
I hear you 🇩🇰👍
😊😊
Johon Blohm, the piano player, is everywhere! He's really, really good. He can play any kind of music.
He also looks like a Mafia boss😂
Johan...

Albert sounds as American as apple pie when he sings but he’s really a very quiet, soft spoken Brit. He’s pure genius.
He has actually lost a lot of his accent
Actually, Apple Pie is English not American but I take your point. 🙂
Saw them play last at an obscure club in a village in Germany, travelled over from Prague.... Superb
Albert has to be the most unknown best guitarist ever... Definataly deserves more recognition..... BTW that bass is brilliant :)
@Larryshaw48. Sir, Albert Lee is not “unknown” to those of us who do “know” about him!
YOU ARE RIGHT TO 100 %
Real Rock&Roll music!Albert Lee is fantastic!!❤❤
It's so obvious that they all still absolutely love what they do. They couldn't be that good, that fresh and spontaneous if they didn't.
AMEN!!
It is great to listen to real music played by an excellent group of musicians. Albert Lee and the group really can play. Would listen to them all day. Keep up the great work.

Young people can't have fun with this music, but why? is it unfashionable? it's always great music. I'm 28 years old and I love Rock and Roll
What more can you say. The Great Albert Lee is still rocking the house. Brings back my youth. Great Rock and Roll will never die just as the King Elvis, it will always be playing after we are all gone. The net is forever.
I first heard this song on Dave Edmunds album, repeat when necessary, Dave on vocals, Albert on lead guitar. Great version, seek it out.
How can anyone think rock'n roll is dead? Immortal it is!
Only started listening to this band a week ago soley by accident and can,t get enough of them. Grew up listening and dancing to all the old rock n roll greats, not the crap they pass off as rock now. One of the best boogie woogie piano players ever.
The refreshments and Albert sure put the fun back into music - reminds me when I was 16 - bring it all back!!!

They roll! The Swedes show us how it's done. Very good live band, the drummer plays New Orleans style very well, Johan Blom at the piano is a class of it's own, - the whole band knows how to roll. Good band chemistry.

What a groove and swing.....can only say YEAH!!
Now, this is MUSIC!!
Wooooow, just the best!!!!! Albert is definitely one of the greatest guitar players ever. Certainly up there with Keith Richards. Absolutely love this song
Keith Richards couldn't even begin to understand what Albert is playing, or how he does it. They're not even at the same level.
I hope this is a joke haha props to Keith for his songwriting but very few people are on the same level as Albert
I love Keith as a creator of memorable riffs, but as a lead guitarist Keith and Albert Lee are not even in the same universe! Hell YES! :)
You are right about featuring piano in bands, but don't forget we also got the Killer and Little Richard during that wonderful era.
The Mavericks feature piano quite a bit and their music can really get your feet tapping too.
