I’m not really a truck person per say. I’ve only owned two types of trucks in my adult years; a 2018 Raptor and now an army green Tacoma TRD PRO. The Tacoma is simply a hassle free, worry free, just start and go type of ownership experience. I don’t need it to be a drag racer nor a track type of vehicle. If I wanted that I’d do my darnest to get a Hellcat or Porsche GT3. I need it to be nimble enough for grocery store parking lots, and nimble enough to go have some fun on some trails, that is all.
Need some advice from the community. Never owned a truck, but my next vehicle will be a truck. I buy a lot of tools and wood so need the bed, but also need it to drive on rough back roads for camping and hiking. Sometimes I drive far.... is the Tacoma TRD a pretty comfortable truck to drive it? If I drove 8 hours somewhere am I going to be sore after? lol
Yeah I guess it's 10 years ago again for this truck but eh if you want it fast so much why not just supercharge it it'll be fast and more fun than before with a simple supercharger.
@@MegaXECUTION well I do have a 2009 Tacoma with the 4.0l and I like that motor alot better than the 3.5L that 4.0 V6 has plenty of power. But don't worry I got a half ton coming up and it's for sure American like most of them. Tacoma won't tow my horse as capable as a half ton would.
I think it's time for an upgrade to Toyota for a new generation of this truck. It's going over for a while now. If you compare to other brands, it needs new technology to beat others.

Tacomas are legends I own a 2009 Tacoma with the 4.0 and it's a little beast. Helo off road tires and lifted about an inch.
My favorite truck ❤️
Mine too! I love Toyota (as well as the Tacoma and all of their other models).
@@brianlee9233 fun fact I actually sold a used Tacoma
Same here!
The Toyota Tacoma is a great truck

The more tech the more expensive. Hardly no one buys these for the technology but for its practical use.
It's meant to be reliable
