Is it necessary to apply new adhesive after you’ve opened the screen to replace the charging port?
Wether you do or don’t, the phone won’t be water resistant. So my rule is if the majority of the gasket remains there’s no reason to replace it
I just did this repair and everything seems to work except the microphone. It records the sound of tapping the phone very loud (both on the screen, sides and back). This is kinda annoying while calling someone. Any idea how to fix it?

My iPhone 13 doesn’t seem to charge cause it says it’s charging but it will only go up like 1-2 percentage but that’s all I don’t know what to change
Battery would be the first thing I would try. Have you had the back glass replaced on the device

Id start with rebooting the phone. Of that doesn’t work I’d try a wireless charger because that will at least rule out wether it’s a charger issue so you can move onto the battery with some confidence
I believe the big connecter is actualy for the charging port itself what's the small one attached right next to it? What's that small connector for?

My I phone 13’s speaker remains muffled even after replacing it, could this possibly be related to charging port flex cable?

yo my phone will play music through the port but wont charge - any idea on what that may be?
It’s possible one of the pins for power is bad. But the pins for data are good which is why music works but not charging

Apple will go as far as to say this is built into the phone and can’t be repaired/replaced. That being said if you are within the 1 year warranty, outside of it being visibly damaged I see no reason why they wouldn’t deny a warranty claim

Is anything on the ip 13 Software locked through apple, so that you’re unable to repair it ?
Nope. That’s just the screen, battery and rear camera that give you ‘unknown part’ messages
