Bought this for my 2002 honda winter beater for android auto and the volume knob. For the price I can't complain, it's budget friendly radio. I'd recommend getting a big brand name one like Kenwood etc for your nice daily but this thing fits the bill for what I need.
I would but my issue is none of the big brands have a volume knob and it's dumb
I spent money on the Kenwood and the bass kept de trying it, but this one hasn’t missed a beat so I’d say the big ticket is just that.. a name and a tag

Thanks for this review. Just picked this one up on sale at Walmart for 70! Going in the 97 V6 Camry which is replacing a very old Alpine cassette single DIN. Also, adding the backup AHD cam for another 20. Nice upgrades for 'Tha-Tank'.

@@QualitymobilevideoI'm a bit disappointed in this unit, I've experienced more than 3 times that audio output stopped working and needs a hard reset every time this happens, therefore I do not recommend this unit, I am on the latest firmware too 2.2.1, and support isn't much help other than doing the hard reset. 😢 You get what you pay for.
Thanks for showing ALL the deatures of the radio INCLUDING the EQ settings and Sound Stage settings. IDK why no one else does that.

5 star Car Stereo also gives great in depth stereo reviews, at least they did, havent seen one in awhile.
Just bought this on the sole fact that the more expensive/brands do NOT have a volume knob.

How high does the volume go?
@@jameerf3 I'm guessing 50, he said it was producing clean signal at 42 so I'm sure it just goes up to 50 max. Seems volume on many HU these days goes up to 50 max. I just bought a new Sony & installed it on Christmas Eve & its volume goes up to 50.
Saucey Meer if you haven't already bought a new head unit I would HIGHLY recommend giving the new Sony 'High Power' single or double dins a try. I bought the DSX-GS80 Sony & even though I've only had it in my car for 3 days I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! This Sony replaced a Soundstream that I'd had in my car for 5 years. Yes, the Soundstream held up well & I more than got my $ worth out of it. I'm actually going to sell it now as it still works but I no longer have use for it. BUT this Sony sounds so much better through my mids/highs & my 18" subwoofer! The sound improvement was insane, made me wish I had bought this Sony a long time ago. No, it's not completely fair to compare my new Sony to my Soundstream as the Sony does have a built in Class D amp that sends over 50 rms watts to each of my four speakers. You can even power a smaller efficient subwoofer off the amp in this headunit. Which I'm not doing as I currently have an 18" sub in my car. Everything sounds so much louder & most importantly sounds cleaner & crisp at high volume levels. These guys have done videos of the new Sony head units that have built-in class d amps (45w x4 channel). You can find them, I know they reviewed the Sony DSX-GS80 single din & the AX7000 double din.
*Saucey Meer if you have a subwoofer/subwoofers, upgraded mids/highs, tweeters or amplifiers added to your vehicle then you will love the Sony head units as it will compliment any of your aftermarket car audio components! I'll say this & then I'll shut up 😆 When I had my Soundstream HU in my car I had the gain the gain on amp that powers my subwoofer turned up to 60%. When I installed the Sony HU I had to turn the gain on my sub amp all the way down to its minimum level & yet my subwoofer is louder than ever before & sounds better, my amp is also running much cooler since the gain is no longer turned up over halfway. All of this was possible due to Sony having quality higher voltage RCAs (5 volt) on the back of the head unit. My amp never over heated or anything with my Soundstream but it would get good & warm. Anyways I hope that made sense to you, I know everyone is at different levels in car audio & loud bass, big subs & amps may not be your thing. If not part of my comment probably will not even make sense. But I think you'd still be very happy with the new Sony models. If you're mainly looking for a double din check out the Sony AX7000 double din. Or if a built-in amp is not something you would benefit from you could look at the Sony AX5000 its supposedly the same headunit as the ax7000 just without the class d amp so it costs around $200 less most places online.

I got 2 15’s in my car running off factory rn, doing a 115 db so far until I get a aftermarket radio and everything, not too shabby. And yeah ima end up getting a mid/highs amp for my door speakers as well. Ima end up switching all of em out for deaf bonce 8’ I got 6.5 in rn, and get some super tweeters as well. how/where do you connect the two wires for steering wheel control?
If it had at least 4V pre amp outs I'd tap the buy button. But it DOES include steering wheel control BUILT IN. Even some $1,000+ big name brands don't include that!!

I have this and the bluetooth doesn't recognize my note 10 or my tab s7....what is the problem? Even with the update it still doesn't pick up any bluetooth devices
When testing these receivers, especially the budget Chinese ones, can you please also test what the idle power draw is (Acc OFF). For the ATOTO units I've found they have a constant 12 mA draw. Any brand name I've ever measured is > 1 mA. Also noticed when powering off the ATOTO units (Acc ON) they still drew 0.8 A and only turned of the screen.
My sterio will play sound for dvd but no picture what did i do wrong
This unit seems good at first, but it will experience no audio output, no sound. You have to hard reset it under the USB cover with a pen then all the settings are gone, all your stations, date time and all other settings, this is frustrating to say the least, and support doesn't have any newer firmware, and they suggest to diable RDS, but that didn't resolve it, it still keeps having the same problem of no audio output.

Installed the radio and can’t get the rear view camera to display when put the car in reverse? Also when using the radio and I have iPhone connected with wire if I get a call or I get a text message the radio goes quite then when it comes back it’s at max volume and blows my ears off?? Why?

I bought mine from amazon and didn’t include the 8 pin connector which includes the backup came wiring and the steering wheel controls, any info of where i can get it?
Just picked us up lines connected where I can use UA-cam CarPlay connected USB, it was working fine for a day and then suddenly no sound, Connect to CarPlay I try turning it off and on but what happens, I tried playing CD, radio no sound, I was told because I have stock stereo system reason why it’s not working, that shouldn’t be a reason why there’s no sound customer is a fine, what can I do? Is there something I can disable on this thing so I can listen to my music and stuff again??
What is the best way to hook up the SWC? Even with the ASWC we cannot get it connected?
In your opinion how does this compare to the pioneer and sony radios to this cpaa-70d? Price it is way cheaper and looks have most if not more of the features that people are wanting in an aftermarket radio.
Honestly, I would consider it if you're trying to save money. I think the OS a is kind of ugly, but I'd really just be rocking Apple Carplay every time I used it if I had it in my car

I installed this in my Hyundai sonota and it works good, but I hooked it to an amp for a subwoofer, using the right rear and the left rear RCAs, the amp I’m using is a dual xpr540, but when I connected my subwoofers to the amp my subwoofers just popped out and stayed like that until I unhooked them, I tried doing research on it and couldn’t find anything, my gains are all set to the minimum and so is the bass boost, x over, and x over frequency, all set to the minimum setting and bass boost off, it’s a 4 channel amp, and I set the switch to 2 channel since I only had two inputs and since I’d only be running two subwoofers bridged, I also tried unbridging them and still got the same results. Any advice?
Something isn’t quite right, do you have a voltmeter that you can use to meter the rear RCA’s to see if they are outputting DC voltage?

Can this radio be installed in a Cadillac deville?
I just custom installed one in a CTS without losing the DIC. I would suggest going to the Cadillac Forums, it's a huge community, and you will find info for just about everything for every Caddy.
For the money in my older CTS, it's a great head unit. Not the prettiest, but does everything you need, and is very fluid.

After about 6 months of using this radio the Apple CarPlay doesn’t work anymore. Sometimes it’ll work but other times it turns back to the reg radio after a couple seconds. Any theories on what this could be?

How do i play a dvd
Can someone please help me out. I watched a vid on this channel I believe where it said that it was possible to use a head unit to wire in auxiliary inputs and toggle light bars and such with but I can’t find which one it was now. Is that just anything with idatalink maestro? Is there any other way around to do it? My vehicle is one year too old to support maestro features.. Thanks

I know there are Kenwood headunits with the iDatalink Maestro RR that do what you describe.

Lol I believe the idatalink maestro stuff has an interface you can wire those inputs through to certain headunits to use them as your switch or button, kenwoods work like another commenter has mentioned. But the easiest way is probably just grabbing a stand alone CTS3 monitor and their daisy chain. @Quality mobile video are rather ignorant self proclaimed “quality”comedians.

Yes, a physical volume knob. The word Physical can be defined as "relating to things perceived through the senses as opposed to the mind; tangible or concrete". Not all headunits have volume knobs anymore, many new ones even have touchscreen volume control.

This product is junk , software keeps freezing up. Pro tip if your stuck with this dumpster fire of a product, there's a reset button top left if usb port, you'll need fine point to push in the reset button. This will save you from disconnecting the negative port on the battery to turn off this head unit after it freezes, in turn will probably kill your battery. Reset button is the only convenient thing about this product and you'll be useing it a bunch..
