For the dairy issue, try oat milk. Omg I normally don't drink but one day I mixed half oat milk with half brandy and a splash of simple syrup. Sometimes I add a scoop of nestles chocolate drink mix in. With 3 ice cubes. And holy cow it is yummy. I normally hate all milk substitutes but oak milk is wonderful. Very creamy. So ya, try oat milk. It is wayyyyy better then oat milk. O and also if a women drinks to much almond milk it can cause problems with her lady parts (it happened to my elderly mother so ya no almond milk in this house anymore. Lol)

Yeah, probably the reason Brandy Cocktails have never taken off. No one has even taken Brandy and had fun with it like Rum/Tiki Cocktails for example.
