Yeah, that was bug because he was opposite in EA, it was hard to get his romance scenes. Then they made it too easy in the full release when it first came out. Should be fixed now.

This would basically mean that you have to start a new game to not deal with everyone being overly affectionate. (If you've already got the issue happening.)
sad things i notice that you kinda easily can romance anyone you like from the start, but if you reject chosen one in second act, well, you will be alone. I spend first date with laezel, then im kinda get bored from her insults (i know she will be better, but it my second playthrogh, and she wouldn't tolerate my future desicions) and i tried to date shadowheart, i gave her a flower, tell her i wanna know her better, did everything i could for her aaand nothing. It was strange cause when i romanced Karlach Wyll still tried to romance me

This pc probably (purposely) have very low approval with all of the companions to get these responses. With high enough approvals everyone (maybe except Jaheira from what I’ve heard) will happily do the test with you even if you are only friends. Some of these comments radiates hate lol (Halsin: I only *tolerates* you). Great effort from OP for getting these quotes, I don’t even know how does one piss Halsin off so much yet still have him in the party.

Judging by their dialogue it's absolutely approval rating, but I haven't seen any evidence to suggest Jaheira or Minsc even have love tests, so those two might always reject you(notable in that their rejections don't give the vibe that they strongly dislike you like the others do)

I saved and tried this with other companions even though Tav and Gale are a thing. Laezel went with me but Astarion didn't.
