Haven't seen you for ages - UA-cam can be very annoying! Yes, the sight of flames & smoke isn't what you really want to see on a warm summer's day (been awfully windy down here), but in the end seemed liked the best of outcomes - burnt off all the dead stuff, followed by a nice soaking rain - couldn't have planned it better - hope no one lost anything of value. - be interesting to see some aerial footage say around Christmas time to see how lush it looks. It's times like that when you find out who your good neighbours are! Glad all turned out well - hope that's it for those kind of dramas this summer. Feel better & stay safe!
Thank you for the comment. Yes to be honest probably the best thing that could have happened to the paddock haha. Have had a lot of rain the past couple of weeks and has turned the season around. A drone shot now would be awesome. Great idea
Wow! So much rain after the fire. Do the grasses thrive with the ash from the burn? Did the fire burn the roots of the grasses?
Yep we have had a lot of rain the past couple of weeks. Turned the season around. The grass down there is thriving now! Probably the best thing that could have happened to it to be honest. It was pretty old and dry.
