The RMX is as big as their Alpha Creek boat (75/90) It's not at all comparable to the boat it was. I can't imagine anyone who paddles the 59 or 69 (even the 79 is smaller) would want to get into a boat that big! The beauty of the old Remix was it's size and ease of portage. Maybe this is better for bigger waters, but the vast majority of recreational whitewater baters are 2-4 level boaters. That's was the Remix's market. This model goes outside that demographic.
@@cheskybaba4864 definitely agree! I’m going on my second season paddling white water here in Minnesota I’ve paddled 2-3 in my remix xp9 I do love it I didn’t know I’d fall in love with whitewater but my XP9 handles everything amazingly well! I’m 5’11” and 145 pounds so I get a good work out carrying my boat 🤣 but maybe sometime In the future I’ll add a second boat and go with the 59 remix !
Now your just teasing Wade! 😂 Three videos before the paddle! Paddling the large Gnar tomorrow for first time. But I really want to try this boat before I make a decision. I’ve heard people say it’s going to be squirrly and they haven’t paddled it yet either.
Will have something up soon I have already paddled it a few times actually and yeah I have never see the gnar large in person let me know if it’s like massive or just a large
I thought they’d be very similar, but after this walkthrough, they appear quite unique from each other.
Very different concepts on these that’s for sure and both are good in their own way
I like how they narrowed up the front end vs the Gnarvana it looks like a Z3 front
Yeah completely different concepts between these 2
Awesome video Wade! I would love to see you compare this to the Code as well.
Will see if can get that one
I hope they make a small RMX for smaller people! Boat looks awesome !
Supposedly it’s on its way?

The remix has the scooped stern too, they just gave the remix a fish tail and edges. Finally, LL learned how to make edges!!
Exactly!

@@WadeHarrison Will do sir.
They didn’t get until late this evening. Will see it this coming weekend! Taking my tape measure!
At gorgeous lake tugalo I see, running sec 4 or tallulah?
Yup that’s the place
Thanks for the vid. What was the thigh indexing like on the RMX? Was it high but super narrow like the Alpha?
It’s not high or narrow to me it feels about right
Just for reference, what did you think of the Alpha thigh positioning? Thanks
I spot the Tooga takeout !!
Yup!
This is a remixed, edgy alpha squirrel with more flying potential.... 😁
For sure a good mix
Yeah ....👍
For me, which lives in super manky water, LL would be a better boat, interested in your review once it hits a few rocks.
It’s a great hybrid edge
Shit Rusty can’t decide what he likes and doesn’t like😂
Hahah your so right and fun fact he actually just sold this JK Gnar he might be in a RMX soon?
