Great interview and demo.
Wow, I love that machine! What a time saver.
Im 29 I remember when my granny was still living we would get a big 5 gallon bucket and shucked these. Yes we from north Carolina
Do you ship pink eye purple hull peas???
Hey! You’re the guy that cleared a plot with pigs, right?
I grew the purple hull peas last year. I planted 5 peas with a newly planted fig tree. I also had another fig tree, same size and planted at the same time. The tree planted with the purple hull peas has triple the growth. Nitagen fixing is what I credit the groth of this tree
Every deer in my county quickly found the pea patch.
My grandpa had an elk in 1947 in manitoba canada
It ate all my grandmas green pea pods off the vines.
Lolol
Very interesting video, great info!
I love that sheller what a very cool tool. Thanks for the interview
These kind of peas have been my most productive crop this year for me
Nice interview, and it would be great to have a sheller like that. Lots of folks in NC grew up eating Crowder peas. They were hard to find in my area this year, and I ended up ordering from Willhite Seed. We have Mississippi Purple Hull and Brown Crowder growing now with a late season planting. Harvest should be in October.
Cow Peas are awesome! Zipper Cream tastes the most like english peas so far, but PEPH are the easiest to grow. I love how they mentioned growing dent corn as well. Oaxacan has been very productive for us, almost as productive as Blue Clarage.
Another nice video. Always enjoy your trips and videos from Okfuskee farms
saludos desde ARGENTINA!!
Great video. Cattledog was a nice surprise. Best wishes.
I tried to grow some pink eye purple hulls in michigan this summer and they didn't do well. I know they are traditionally a southern crop and our weather is way different. I just accepted a transfer to n.c. so maybe next year will be better if we get a house in time.
A great video! But “a 5 gallon bucket doesn’t a bushel make” …. Per my granddaddy 😊
