Just want to add one historical fact - Scotch Eggs were inspired by an Indian Dish called Narghisi Kofta. British Soldiers loved Narghisi Kofta which was cooked in Royal Kitchen of Nawab Sirajuddaula. When they went to England they made scotch eggs with the same technique but couldn't make the sauce that is used in creating the kofta.

The first dish reminds me of a bougie version of what my Korean parents made me. We fry the egg, so the yolk is still runny, place it over a rice bowl, add some soy sauce sesame oil, and eat it with kimchi.
I thought Ryan's dish looked amazing. I've never seen that before. I almost want to try to make it. They all looked good though the huevos rancheros ... where's the spice or the salsa? I probably would still enjoy that one.
I normally cook my eggs into my rice, but i would definitely try this dish. I love Asian-inspired flavors and i love rice and light dishes. Definitely keeping this one for when my braces come off. At the present I terrified of eating most things. Lol. I guess that is why i spend so much time watching food programs and people eat. 😁
Onsen eggs on rice, that shit slaps. But I prefer it as a topping to accent a rice and protein dish. Any japanese "Don" restaurant would probably have it on their menu, hope you end up trying it, it's really good! I like it on top of a Gyudon~

I'd love to see more vegan foods made and tried. I've dozens of food allergies and health issues that do not allow me to eat pork or beef, I cannot digest it. I cannot have tomatoes which cuts me out of sooooo many foods because it's all made with a tomato sauce AND I'm allergic to milk. I'm more allergic to things than things I'm not allergic too. Though, I CAN have tree nuts, just not peanuts. Any suggestions are very helpful. I would love to put more flavor and ideas into my daily menu. Can you eat legumes like hummus, baked goods using chick pea flour, bean purees, bean soups? What about avocados? They can be eaten lots of different ways. I struggle with food intolerance, especially digesting meat and carbohydrates, and look to fatty protein rich veggies and nut butters.
Hey. If you like spinach my mum makes mash but with white potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots and a loaf of spinach. We also make a spinach and chickpea curry but it is tomatoe based so you could find another curry base and include spinach chickpeas or lentils and potatoes. If you like curry you can try make a massaman curry and put a lot of veg into it :)
My grandma used to make me the eggs with rice the way Ryan made it , all the time in Cuba , she had told me my grandgrand grandma from my grandpa side of the family taught her and she did migrate to Cuba from china I did get to meet my grandgrand grandma and she was an amazing and the sweetest person , and yes the eggs and rice taste so good !!!
I don’t think anything could’ve saved it unfortunately. He used the wrong tortillas, and didn’t use a homemade salsa for the sauce. :/ also, beans don’t go in the sauce. They’re served on the side. I honestly think people tweak classic authentic recipes to look more appealing/easy to make for people who don’t really care to look into tradition. Sometimes simple recipes and ingredients go a long way. His huevos rancheros were borderline offensive and did not represent Mexican cuisine in the slightest.

That was the most under-seasoned huevos rancheros of all time. Some hot sauce probably could've saved it tbh
I don’t think anything could’ve saved it unfortunately. He used the wrong tortillas, and didn’t use a homemade salsa for the sauce. :/ also, beans don’t go in the sauce. They’re served on the side. I honestly think people tweak classic authentic recipes to look more appealing/easy to make for people who don’t really care to look into tradition. Sometimes simple recipes and ingredients go a long way. His huevos rancheros were borderline offensive and did not represent Mexican cuisine in the slightest.
