I live in the UK, people use spoons a lot.
In the Philippines, we call the “sesame balls” Buchi. I just learned it originated from China. It’s one of my family’s go-to afternoon snack though.

I love that Jess introduced the sesame balls, I grew up eating it at Yum cha restaurants. Interesting to hear other chefs thoughts about them.
fried sesame balls may not have that showstopping pizzazz, but once you have one you honestly cannot stop. although i love all types and find myself buying more than I can handle, I always stop at one slice of each cake because they satiate

not Tiramisu to be fair, but I do eat cakes with forks, there are extra cake forks after all (that I use to eat everything because I like tiny cutlery but that is beside the point xD )

I eat pretty much anything that isn't liquid or super soft with a fork or chopsticks. Cake is absolutely something I eat with a fork. Unless there's ice cream on top/inside OR it's soaked in milk.

(what Jess made)In my country Malaysia, it's called kuih bijan and also can use a coconut Palm sugar(gula kabung) filling in it.kinda good snack to have with hot beverage like tea or coffee.less sweet tea or black coffee,the way i prefer,but my love snack is beef rendang flavour currypuff, delicious 😋
