    My problem with employees is I can't afford someone stealing equipment tearing equipment up or doing a crappy job causing me loose customers

    Jason - I'm retired and started watching lawn care videos to improve my own yard. I have watched a lot of UA-cam folks over the past several months and I have found you to be one of the better "thinkers" out there. Yes, the quality of your videos could be better but their content usually packs a punch. I admire your willingness to admit mistakes, offer advice and basically just try to be better every day. Good luck in what you do.

    When it is raining season how do you get by money wise?
    Where are you getting income from?
    Do you save up for those months?

    Is there really a such thing of mow and blow? Some customers tend to add without adding to the price.

    Jason, I’m down here in Houston, TX & I have St. Augustine grass & had crabgrass spring/summer. What’s the best treatment/fertilizer?

      @SuperDerezzed 3 роки тому

      Put prodiamine preemergent down now, you got about 1-2 weeks window to best prevent crabgrass

    Jason i have a quick question if you have a second! I have a st Augustine lawn and i recently picked up some MSM turf. Using a grams scale i measured it down to treat 5k sq ft. in 2 gallons of water via pump sprayer. I mixed in hot water and added to the tank of room temperature. Anyway 72 hours ago i spot treated lespedeza, dallas and crab grass, and various other grassy weeds. I have seen absolutely no difference at all. The weeds look exactly like they did before i did the treatment. I knew the crabgrass would be tuff but i expected to see some difference in the lespedeza. Solutions said mixing in hot water would not affect the effectiveness but i am not quite sure about that now. Am i just being impatient?
    I'd really appreciate any insight. Keep up the good work, man.
    Thanks, Bill

      It can be slow. 72 hours is not enough time

    You make as much as possible on every yard regardless if you’re alone or have 100 employees

    I would personally try to prequalify as many customers as I could on the phone. You can waste allot of time running around for nothing to show.

    How are you guys collecting payment from your customers that are not home while you're cutting their lawn?

      We use the square app. You can sent an email invoice and customers pay on their own time. . We set up the terms prior .
