You should explain the different approaches to solving these problems. Some people will find some approach easier than others. You should not force a specific approach of your random choosing but explain all and let the student decide which approach suits them best. The opposite operation can be explained easier: Just as an example the fist problem x + 2 = 5 can be solved this way: You leave x on the left of "=" and everything else on the right: (every time a number goes to the other side of "=" it becomes an opposite: +2 becomes -2, -7 becomes +7 etc.) x + 2 = 5 >>> x = 5 -2 >>> x=3 You should be teaching people HOW to think not WHAT to think. Not every mind works the same and the more approaches you present students with the higher the chance each student will accept and adapt at least one into their way of thinking.

I recall how proud I felt when I reached pro-level in Algebra by cheating, graduating high school, and NEVER having to mess with this type of junk EVER AGAIN!
@@tbradfurd Funny story: I had to pass a CLAST test in order to graduate college. College Level Scholastic Test, common in Florida during the 20 aughts. It involved algebra, geometry, percentages, all that CRAP I HATE! I signed up for the test in May of 2005 for the test date in October of the same year. I found State resources with example problems related to the actual test, studied for 4 months and passed all 5 test batteries on the first try. My advisor told me that she BOMBED her first try and had to take failed batteries over again. I AM A WARRIOR! If I can cheat with no effort I will. If I can't then I make algebra my bitch.
I'm not mad at you 😂 I'm trying to do James madison online diploma and I'm stuck on the algebra 1 and the geometry. Photomath can't do it but no sure about the Photomath plus any advice please.
@@josephglenn4688 I do have a true story: In Florida I had to pass a College Level Aptitude Scholastic Test (CLAST) in 2005. Even if a college student has a 4.0 GPA after all coursework is completed, they still need passing scores on the CLAST to graduate. I studied for 5 months doing algebra, geometry, etc. because I knew I would fail. Finding practice resources was not easy. But after an internet search 2 week's later I found Tallahassee Community College had an entire catalogue of learning based on that specific test. They had sample problems and then 4 problems that got progressively more difficult to solve. I practiced every morning for 30 minutes before work and every evening for another 30 to 60 minutes, more on weekends. Some students fail some of the 5 different test batteries so when I took the test some people would leave, and others would join to take portions previously failed. The test went from 7 AM to 1 PM on a Saturday. I passed all batteries on my first try. If I tried that test again today, I would fail miserably. Find learning resources specific to the test that you have to pass.
For question 5 with the absolute value, what do you have to write 2 different problems with one as 7 and the other -7? Thanks. You always help me with understanding math better
The first time I had to use it was when I was writing a computer program. Honestly, if you're not going into engineering or math you literally will never need this.

This is LRTLY THE BEST CHANNEL for teaching Math ! They've made the math more simple compared to the orig math method's !❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👍👍😁😁 NAHHH 7TH GRADE IS HARD TO HELL :0
Thanks for the comment
Is question 5, x. =7 and x=-10 or x=4 and x=-10?
exactly what i thought...
What I wrote is correct. I misspoke.
@@UltimateAlgebra I am literally thanking God for you for two reasons: I was only smart enough in highschool to take basic math and now I feel better about myself because of your teachings! AND I am SO thankful I scrolled for any input on question #5! I think I sat here for half an hour trying to figure out how x=7. I'm not obsessed with learning Algebra!!!
this is an amazing practice!!! i learned this so so fast! I even passed my Algebra 1 EOC!! 🎉Thank you 🎉 God bless the reader. I pray you guys also learn algebra 1
Thank you for sharing. Congratulations
I'm in 5th grade and learning so much
Keep up the great work!
Happy to hear that
It helped me so much with my diagnostic test.
Happy to hear that.
Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry, were names that meant not a darn thing to me, due to me dropping out of school. But when in my 40's I still managed to independently derive the Special Relativity mathematical equations, and independently derive the Lorentz transformation equations. But being a do it yourselfer, I derived them in a whole new way in comparison.
Are you saying that you learned Algebra and Calculus...etc in your 40s then you derived those equations? or you did it without Knowing a dam thing about Algebra and all that still
DIY is a good approach for math
i study using this video bf a test today and im cooked ik get back to you guys when i get done wit the test
No wonder I flunked algebra in 9th grade. I'm still confused at 65 years old
Check out or simplest Algebra Class. ua-cam.com/video/V3dFHt9p5W8/v-deo.html. You know far more than you are aware of.
Thanks for explaining functions. Something new today. Don't know where I'd need to use it in retirement. Big like.
We appreciate the comment. You're welcome
I recall how proud I felt when I reached pro-level in Algebra by cheating, graduating high school, and NEVER having to mess with this type of junk EVER AGAIN!
And if you ever go to college its super hard to pass math, as someone who also cheated through highschool
Legend
I forgot literally everything. Your steps are clear enough for me to understand, thank you!
Bruh I’m in the sixth grade and I’m getting good in 8th grade math
We learn that in grade 6😊
Now all you have to do is go back to fourth grade and learn how to spell and read.
Same
I don’t even know some of this and I’m going into high school
@@pbassassinz8097Why you do bro dirty like that?😭🙏
Thanks I got into 3 advance math classes without going to algebra I’m studying it this helped sum it up
@7:58 you said X=7 instead of X=4
That had me confused too i thought it was just me i couldnt find the comment section at first and i was going nuts
Thank You this was very helpful!!
8:44 where that 11 came from ???
The "1" that you see is actually just the | behind the x and after the first one
Dont worry, no new ones :)
@@BuzyBee9575😂 thanks it got me to
For question 5 with the absolute value, what do you have to write 2 different problems with one as 7 and the other -7? Thanks. You always help me with understanding math better
On question 15, where did the 3 come from in the Y column?
im pretty sure its just an example function
@@yea6049 you're right. It's just an example. The point here is that, the Y section is not of much relevance. The X section is what is most important
Thank you miss.its very helpful for our 9th grade students.i will never forget your help.
@@HannanSarker-ne7yd you’re welcome
66 years old and still haven't used it
I’m not even close to twenty…. And uh I wanna know algebra and I’m in fifth grade…. Is that bad… and is it bad I almost understand most of this 🤨
@@Alastor_the_radio_demon1929_Nah it’s good. If you’re interested in it pursue it! It’s good to know algebra, you are a lot better than me lol 😂
@@Alastor_the_radio_demon1929_I’m in 7th and I’m learning algebra 2 your supposed to learn it in 10th grade
76 and couldn't care less haha .now there's brain-dead needs mixing simple maths into stupidity..I don't mean this video though
The first time I had to use it was when I was writing a computer program. Honestly, if you're not going into engineering or math you literally will never need this.
Thanks but I want to get in advanced before I go to Middle school so this helps if it’s 8th, or 7th thanks! And also it’s kinda easy kinda hard can you make an easier version if you can?
POV ur watching this so u can go to ur dream school😂
😂😂😂 damn u
🎓, 😆😂😆
i hope we guys will pass
This is the best explanation of algebra. No bullshit. Your videos are amazing
Thanks for the comment. Happy to help
So, Math is no longer RACIST? Good to know.
😂😂😂😂
A clear and concise presentation, thank you!!!
You're very welcome!
Very simple and class 9 level math's. You should make a video on advance level algebra tips & tricks. BTW commendable approach!
Thank you. Noted the suggestion
Quick question, for number 7 how did you add two but canceled it out at the same time? I'm was super confused for that one question
In question 3, negative 2 (-2) is also a solution. I was taught when taking the square root of a constant, such as 4, the result is plus or minus.
You explain everything step-by-step!
Thank you for making this video it really helped me! I passed my math tests
Congratulations!! Happy for you. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for teaching me algebra so easily🎉😊❤
It's my pleasure

I don’t know why all of this made sense to me since the beginning. Maths is the only subject I enjoy and can work on it for hours
I want to refresh my math knowledge. I probably should start with Algebra. What set of videos do you suggest?
i’m preparing for algebra 1 in 8th grade this year and i start school literally in 6 days. so this helped me learn the basics.

algebra 1 starts in 9th grade though, in 8th you do pre algebra i think you’re getting confused
Algebra is easier than i thought learned this in (x*6/2 = 30) minutes.
