    I’ve always feared math simply because of the nature of its perceived complexity. I thought Algebra would be hard for me but after unexpectedly watching this video, I have realized how easy can math be if someone like this great teacher can explain and simplify. If you read this message, now that you are a great teacher full of problem solving skills. I’m practicing my math and physics for my upcoming aviation school application. One thing I've learned is that you can have 5 teachers who are all exactly equal in their proficiency in math, and yet all 5 of their classes can come out in different states of proficiency. Style and brevity go a LONG way in teaching math. I couldn't stand sitting in a boring quiet classroom surrounded by people with a teacher writing in marker on an overhead projector. Just something simple like using different colors like in this video would have gone a long long way back then. All we got was black and white, and worksheets after the teachers confusingly zipped through. This 15 minute video taught better and taught me more than I was able to learn from my teacher in my entire Foundations II freshman class 20 years ago

    URGENT INFO: This is just our beginners/foundation course. Visit ultimate-algebra.com and get all our other course so you can master Algebra
    The purpose of this course is to make Algebra "Annoyingly" Easy.
    1. It was designed so that even a 10year old can fully understand. We actually even have 7 year old students going through it successfully.
    2. We avoid using terms to explain anything, Example instead of saying variable, we will simply say letters. This will ensure that anyone who knows absolutely nothing in algebra can still learn it successfully
    3. We used multiple modalities to make sure it is clear and concise. We use color codes so that your eyes can easily pick up information without you even putting effort into it. We made sure every theory is clearly stated and all the exceptions are duly noted so that you cannot get confused.
    These are a few things about this course. It is not intended to be everything you need in Algebra. Please visit ultimate-algebra.com and get the full course and other courses, so you can say good bye to your algebra problems permanently and pass your next test with ease

    • @UltimateAlgebra
      @UltimateAlgebra  6 років тому +4

      Sorry for that. Sincerely. I don't think you or anybody is a dummy. If you watch the video, you will notice that the original tittle for the video is "Algebra from Scratch". We did a test and realized that the search term a decent number of people who need our help are using is "Algebra for Dummies". It's unfortunate, but that's the truth. We decided that if we want to be truly helpful then we have to present what the students are already searching for. By putting "Dummies" in the title we are able to help 300 new people everyday and these are the people that need our help most. It's tricky for us too. I personally hate to use that word but if we do not help those searching for "Algebra for Dummies", they will watch a bad video and will even feel worse about themselves.

    • @UltimateAlgebra
      @UltimateAlgebra  5 років тому +1

      Please do not confuse FREE with GOOD. I tried using Khan Academy when I was in school and it did not help me. He's doing a good job, don't get me wrong, but personally I won't encourage people to use it. My biggest problem with Khan Academy is that, "HE TEACHES JUST LIKE MY TEACHER IN SCHOOL THAT I DID NOT UNDERSTAND". The only difference is that he is using a video so I can rewatch it and pace it my own way, so it gives the delusion of better explanation.
      We teach in a very different way. This single video definitely doesn't do justice to our teaching method but checkout our course.. The biggest difference with us is that "WE CARE FOR YOU". Unlike most teachers that think it's your responsibility to pass, we believe it's our responsibility to make you pass. We take the COACH approach to teach. Your failure is ours.
      As an engineer with a background in analytics, we don't just teach math, we study students and teach in a systematic step by step way that will work for them.
      LOL! I know I sound triggered but frankly I feel protective of my students. I have heard of countless stories of students who had bad teaches or watched badly explained videos and change the course of their whole life. I DON'T WANT ANYONE HERE TO BE AN EXAMPLE

    Wow, thank you very much! It was quite helpful, I'm only in 4th and we aren't learning algebra til' 6th, so middle school. But I'm glad to get a headstart, very helpful. ♡

    Completely understand this, don't know why I was soo intimidated by this previously. I'm older now, maybe my brain just has the capacity to not rush through it and actually grasp the concept. Thank you

    This is way better than when I was in middle school (in the '90s). I joined the Military and everything and a lot of the jobs I wanted they wouldn't let me do because my math skills were so low. I just didn't have teachers except 1 that had the patience to slow down. What's funny is that I got Geometry pretty well because I had a teacher that was patient and figured out how my brain I guess puts things together.
