Hello

How
Snoop Dogg blushing after getting to kiss his childhood celebrity crush may be one of the most wholesome things I’ve ever heard.
Its so wholesome, my danm heart cant handle it
Lol
My face went "🥺"
Pam Grier was my childhood celebrity crush too, so I can imagine how Snoop felt. It's such a great story.
Snoop is such a wholesome dude. He constantly tweets about how he spoils his grandkids, even having sugary snacks on constant demand for them (Though he usually steals them too). Mofo even has a cook book with recipes like "Go Shorty! It's your birthday (cake)" and "Soft touch tacos" ... For a dude who was once on trial for murder, he is wholesome af.
James looks like he is about to passionately grab Chelsea & start dancing Tango.

The story of Jimmy Bones really hit me because he was trying to get out the hood and make a benefit for himself and his community and a racist white cop got mad at him and urged him to sell drugs around the block because that's all he sees him as, a drug dealer
He was not a racist cop though
@@orommes i know right
@Christian Jarvis he called him a certain n-word
Well, it’s up to the individual. Do they want to become what that racist cop sees, a drug dealer? Or does he want to rise above what others think of him and make a name for himself?
he doesn't want to get out of the hood though he says at one point he never wants to leave.
I've always wanted my hair to be straight down like Snoop's. He just looks more of a badass with it like that.
It's a wig 100%. Even born with straight hair it takes around an hour with a straightener to make them look like that. Love, a woman.

I think this is an underrated movie, it's truly an amazing movie. Has the right touch of humor, and the Foxy Brown action with very very interesting lore that could be more movies.
I love Bones. It was something new, fresh, unique, inventive, stylish, cool, edgy, hip, and updated such as the concept and themes. The tone and element was scary, creepy, spooky, eerie, dark, gritty, urban, and gothic 😱😰 which works perfectly for the movie. Snoop Dogg did a phenomenal and spectacular job portraying Jimmy Bones as he put tons of emotion and depth into his role. Sure it got negative reviews but I honestly thought it was pretty good. It's a guilty pleasure for me. 😏 To this day I keep up a tradition of watching it every Halloween and I consider it a classic. It never gets old. You can not possibly forget about this movie as it's just so memorable and well-known. It is one of Ernest Dickerson best and finest work in cinema. When it was first released it received negative reviews which totally confused me but despite that I hold it very close to my heart. The movie was just constructed perfectly from the very beginning to the end. It is such a true blue modern gem. I'm so happy that Scream Factory Blu-Ray released a Collector's Edition as it's finally getting the recognition and credibility it deserves as critics and audiences are fully understanding and comprehending the interpretation of the story.😍👍💯😎
“I killed you, you killed me. We even.” That made me chuckle

It’s a shame that the studio altered so much of the movie.

i wonder if that was an intentional reference, considering james livestreams sea of thieves
Snoop Dogg and Pam Grier did a phenomenal and spectacular job portraying Jimmy Bones and Pearl as they both put tons of emotion and depth into their roles. Jimmy and Pearl's love story was so deep, raw, genuine, believable, relatable, sweet, and pure on so many levels as it was just absolutely and positivity constructed perfectly from the very beginning to the end. My heart aches for Jimmy and Pearl as they make such a lovely and beautiful couple as they have loved and loyalty for each other but unfortunately their bond got shattered as Jimmy was betrayed and brutally murder and Pearl grieved his death for over 20 years. 😭😞🥺 I was so happy that they finally reunited as it was so sweet and genuine. 😍😎💯👍😭😞🥺 The ending was bittersweet due to Jimmy getting his revenge but at the same time he died with Pearl as she sacrifice herself to die with Jimmy as she loved him truly and dearly and she grieved his death as she did not want to go through that again. 😭😞🥺
The fact that he put Shotgun as a shotgun in the kills had me dead.

in all seriousness, the reason the bodyguard was just killed and not sacrificed is because the bodyguard wasn't "in" on the plan to kill Bones, he was only forced to stab him as part of the criminalization pact, i think that's where the line is drawn between killing and sacrificing in Bones' revenge
@@notaliasing2075 atleast he's fair lol
@@notaliasing2075 That’s makes sense BUT that’s not why he killed shotgun he mainly killed shotgun to put him out of his misery, Shotgun became an alcoholic after the incident in which Jimmy was murdered, that’s why he said before he slit his throat “You’re gonna be free and clear Shotgun all debts are paid baby!” .
@@dilliondavis8294 that makes so much more sense. I was feeling bad for the dude but it was a mercy killing.
The ending was bittersweet due to Jimmy getting his revenge but at the same time he died with Pearl as she sacrifice herself to die with Jimmy as she still loved him truly and dearly as she grieved his death for over 20 years as she did not want to go through that again. 🥺😞😭
Snoop’s quote about getting to kiss Pam Grier has to be the most wholesome thing I’ve heard all day!
The true horror are the amount of maggot scenes in this movie
How much free time do you have? Jesus
Bro I see u in every comment section wtf
Suprising you dont have the top comment

Why WHY ARE YOU EVERYWHERE I GO?!
I like how snoop was high the whole movie, classic snoop 😂🤣

@BRAVOZULU DWEST boathouse Uh, okay man...
@BRAVOZULU DWEST boathouse it’s more of a kill count with some information beside it, there’s not much reviewing, well there is technically reviewing, but not the kind of reviewing I think you’re talking about.
@BRAVOZULU DWEST boathouse this is a kill count

People behind that movie seems to really love it. The way how Dickerson speaks about the process and the cast is absolutely inspiring and heartwarming. What a mix of professionality and kindness to each other, perfect chemistry. I don't cared about the movie itself, but after seeing so much love in creating this picture, I want to watch it!
I love Snoop Dogg's smile so goddamn much
0:48: Aww man, you didn’t mention that Ernest Dickerson also directed the criminally underrated “Tales From the Crypt: Demon Knight”?
I think Snoop’s outfit for Bones inspired the outfit for his other fictional antagonist character Crow in Def Jam Fight For NY.
There is definitely many striking similarities between the two.
It is.
it most definitely did. and the video for doggy dogg world as well.
My gosh that game was ahead of its time
Man it's so sad that this film didn't get much love when it came out. The cast and staff seemed to have so much fun with it
I love Bones. It was something new, fresh, unique, inventive, stylish, cool, edgy, hip, and updated such as the concept and themes. The tone and element was scary, creepy, spooky, eerie, dark, gritty, urban, and gothic which works perfectly for the movie. Snoop Dogg did a phenomenal and spectacular job portraying Jimmy Bones as he put tons of emotion and depth into his role. Sure it got negative reviews but I honestly thought it was pretty good. It's a guilty pleasure for me. 😏 To this day I still watch it and I consider it a classic. It never gets old. 😍👍💯😎

yeah I remember seeing this like a year or so after it came out, it's really a forgotten gem (and it's much better than Snoop Dogg's Hood of Horror)
@@newflesh666 Bones was absolutely and positivity constructed perfectly from the very beginning to the end due to the works of director Ernest Dickerson. It is such a true blue modern gem. I'm so happy that Scream Factory Blu-Ray released a collector's edition as that made me so happy as it's finally getting the recognition and credibility it deserves as critics and audiences are fully understanding and comprehending the interpretation of the story. 😍👍😎💯
Ayo what happened to the step sister that adopted Bones the Dog?
“patrick was there but he was just a ᵇᵃᵇʸ ᵇᵒʸ“
i saw snoop dogg in the thumbnail and clicked out of curiosity. i wasn't disappointed.

I'm not sure if you're going to read this, but I would like to thank you for covering this movie. Black horror cinema doesn't really get the light shined on it very often. I love what you do, keep doing it.
Same. Really appreciated. One of my favourites as a kid too
Black cinema sucks
*Everybody liked that*
Jordy has Me not as much as your mom
Lots of type of horror movies don't get cover it's not an exclusive black thing
And even then most horror movies made nowadays suck and have the same usually formula
I don’t see why this movie didn’t do well at the box office this looks great
It was great.
Snoop's in his Crow attire from Def Jam Fight For Ny
