Hi Chris. I am a new fan of yours. I've only heard of you nine days ago, which was through a friend of a friend. It was a video of you reviewing last year's Snowpiercer. I remember when it came out, but I have yet to see it. I was immediately captivated by your review. You had fascinating things to say about it and your presentation is brilliant. I love that you're very detailed in both of praising as well as your hilarious critiques. Very insightful. Straightaway the thing I noticed is your extensive Blu-Ray collection. I've noticed Looper and Skyfall, although I haven't seen either one.... 2012 was a pretty dry year for me as far as movies go. :-) Anyway I have been watching your channel every chance I get. Your fan for life.
That Captain America figure you have along woth the others, that is the EXACT same toy I got for my brother for Christmas last year. He really loves Captain America and it was just nice to see. Great collection, Chris. I wish I had as much cool stuff as you do.
You don’t have to be embarrassed Chris, I still collect movie themed action figures, superhero action figures and other things like that and I’m damn proud of it , anyone who says you’re too old to collect stuff is full of shit
Aw such fun to have a guided tour of your lair. So much nostalgia in one place. Interesting contrast in how DVDs and BRDs do not make for display. Looks like we lost more than we thought when tapes went west. Something to make you a little green, we have some "junk" from Blockbuster like card cutout figures from movies and posters. They used to get thrown in the skip out back when the new stuff came in. How sad for such wonderful potential souvenirs ended in the dump. So where is your lifesize cutout of Catwoman or Princess Leia? No movie books I could see.... but liked the popcorn pot. And all so tidy!
I remember Eerie Indiana! It's funny. Going back, you can tell some shows are SO 90s. X Files especially as I check it out on Netflix from time to time.
Damn Chris you have a great taste in action movies and tv shows Dragon Ball Z was great and also I love all the toys and that you have the Marvel glasses. Hey Arnold was a great tv show and your superhero collection is awesome to :)
dope collection Chris! I was able to get the Jurassic Park Blu Ray 3D, Dark Knight Trilogy, and The Avengers 3D all for less than $24 a piece for this past Black Friday. The Jurassic Park was the cheapest at $17.99 on Amazon, Avengers 3D for $22, n Dark Knight trilogy for $23.42 in hard case n comic included.
I still have an n64! My younger brother has been taking care of it. one thing i did like that nintendo did that sony also did. They had a universal video output. Snes, N64, and gamcube had the same port and made it easier to swap between systems!, same with psx to PS3
I will see Only God Forgives eventually. I originally was uncertain if I wanted to see it or I could just say I wasn't interested. I watched your spoiler review and I don't want to repeat myself. The World's End kicked ass and Hot Fuzz is my favorite of the trilogy. Your tour was never boring, I'm done.
Eerie Indiana was and is an awesome show:) very creative! Love the Mummie episode when that kid gets stuck in that Horror movie and wrecks the set haha:) good memories
I used to have the same Xenomorph figure you had by Kenner. Sure I have my Neca Alien with 22 points of articulation that came with the AVP battle pack with the Predator, but it was so cool. It came with a Young Blood predator with a hand cannon, removable mask, spear and even a little comic. Sadly, I gave it to my ex-best friends's brother which I highly regret now since it would probably be worth a fortune by now. Anyway, Love your videos man, and I hope to release my own Heavy Metal Magazine inspired motion comic some time in 2015 - 2016. Hopefully I can get it up and running as I lack voice actors but It would be kickass if you were to check it out when it came out. Keep the Metal Heavy Chris!
Yeah, five months ago, remember putting in a request for a Shin Megami Tensei 2 case that hasn't been put on yet. And considering that he's now making replacement game LABELS instead, I'm not really sure I'll never be able to buy the box. -_-
Chris, I was wondering, how are your posters stuck to your walls? I have a fair amount of posters as well, but no way to apply them besides tape and thumb tacks, and I don't really like either of those ideas, and I was hoping that you might have a good method.
When I watch some of your videos, I look at your left side because I can't help but notice some of your books. I was like "Are those Eerie, Indiana" books? They look like my books. So I squealed when I saw that they are indeed EI books! I was obsessed by them and I don't know anyone else who collected those! I stopped buying them when "Switched Channels" came out because I hated the new characters based on the new series.
I have a Toshiba 2400 Blu Ray Player and sometimes when I play a Blu Ray disc every now and again the audio doesn't match the film. Do I need to update my firmware (whatever that is)? PLEASE HELP!!!
There's nothing wrong with your BluRay player, this is common with HD video as there is a lot of processing going on which can develop a noticeable delay in audio to video. Sometimes the A/V (audio/video) issues can be fixed by browsing through the settings and looking for an automatic sync option. Also, try setting your TV to "game mode" and that might help with some processing problems. If all else fails you can manually readjust the audio in the settings by however many milliseconds it's off by.
The audio isn't constantly off with the picture, its just that at some point in the movie the audio will loop (repeat) and then it will be off so I have to rewind and play for it to readjust itself. What is the best thing to do about this?
Wow, you sure have a lot of posters. :-) I'd love to win that Argo Blu-Ray, but I don't live in the US, so I somehow think it'd be expensive to send it to me if I'd win. (which I doubt is gonna happen.)
Chris, have you read the Dark Tower Series? I'm on the last book of the series and I was just wondering if you enjoyed reading the series. What was your favorite? I like The Gunslinger, Wizard and Glass, The Wastelands, The Drawing of the Three, and the other three are just okay. Thanks
Chris, I saw some new blu rays you didn't show us in your collection video, including, The X-Files, Stir of Echoes, Shaun of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, Pirates of the Caribbean 1,2 & 3, My Neighbor Totoro, Moneyball, The Lookout, Lincoln, Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2, Insidious, Hot Fuzz, and Cloverfield. I'm just wondering, why didn't you show us those in this video?
YES!!! I've been missing these type of videos for so long Chris. Thanks a lot, your Blu-Ray collection is really growing, congratulations.
Very Awesome Collection Chris. And nice small Update :D

It's for the Digital copy code, not the entire set... And it probably won't work outside the US anyway.
