- Disney’s “Launchpad” Season 2 is a collection of live-action shorts from a new generation of dynamic filmmakers. This season showcases six writers, five directors and one writer-director from underrepresented backgrounds who were given the opportunity to share their perspectives and creative visions. Continuing the goal of Disney’s first season of “Launchpad,” which was to diversify the types of stories that are being told by giving access to those who historically have not had it, “Launchpad” Season 2 is proud to present six new shorts for Disney+ based on the theme of “connection.”

I'm so happy for all the filmmakers who had this opportunity! I hope it launches each career. This is a tough industry. I can't wait to see all of them. I'm really looking forward to seeing Black Belts! Spencer Glover the director, he's a gem!

Disney had change the Snow White, they not going to have a handsome Prince in the movie, so instead they going to have the right dream to be a good leader which this isn't what we want. Plus they not going to have the Seven Dwarfs, instead they replacing it with magical creature. And the bad part about the movie is they have a one of the transgenders to be part of it.

@@FrostyIgnition I don't know where the disconnect would be, perhaps in your misfiring synapses? Disney used to make live-action flicks and shorts, before they devolved into the cookie-cutter cartoon snorefests. They were creative, inspiring, entertaining.

@VictorGonzalez-xs9oc I'm not fond how they changed the story of snow white myself, but I see transphobia on that last part. I think little mermaid was the last retelling I wanted to invest in.

Tbh it's not even the agenda that is a main problem. It's the writing. Just do it right. It's the same movie as the one Oprah made. They all do that same thing. I really miss the old stuff like Lilo and Stitch. It was actually funny. Now that I watch Disney the comedy and drama feels so forced. Even the Marvel movies are using the same formula. Idk why but it's like everything Disney is becoming To all the boys or whatever that movie is called. Or Kissing Booth. If you are going to give us a diverse cast you need diverse plots to make it work.
