That library - wow! The reading room looks awesome and that ceiling in the museum hall is amazing. Yeah I like Rue Montmartre ; I prefer it to Rue Montorgeuil. Thanks for another top video Jay 🙏
Thanks, Jay! The second is my favorite and you showed me some new places to go. I really like to stay there, too, because it is close to the Louvre and the Seine, and fairly quiet. All the best to you and Coop!
Fun fact the passages (covered galleries) existed before the creation of the hausmannian boulevards. The central streets were narrow, crowded and famously muddy back then, so the passages were welcome !
Yeah! I was wondering what the best way to do that would be. I have a few versions I've done and I think a hand drawn then vectorized one might look slick
First trip to Paris in May this year: stayed in the 2nd Arr (near Bonne Nouvelle Metro stop). Was totally spoilt for choice for food and an evening beverage. Originally chose there as it’s a pretty central for most things (apart from Tour De Eiffel 😂 ) but was pleasantly surprised at variety and quality of the food and drink establishments within a 5 to 10 minute walk from my hotel😎
We stayed in an AirBnB just above Bone Shaker. Great place to stay. And the donut smell in the morning is awesome. The area was the absolute best for food.
For our 31st going to Marais and Epernay the 2 nd week of December. Epernay has the Festival of Lights going on that weekend. Ave of the Champagne is our host and looks like a great festival to attend. Your videos have been very helpful. I will be trying some of your restaurant suggestions and hope you have a good palate for food. Thanks !
Keeps getting better, the camera shots are top notch. But Jay, there are some good places to eat even on Rue Montorgueil, my kid loves L'Escargot and their mega snail plater and the onion soup is great with a pastry hat on it. But yes the 2nd is food central if not quite as good as the 6th, with Aux Lyonnais, Palais Royal, and Grand Colbert are worth doing.
Paris has good food to try. But be careful some tourists traps that are expensive and not great. Years ago I spent a 15 euros smoothie to land it in the trash, even though I was so thirsty on that hot day. They have so many places that range Michelin grade, good so delicious and very affordable and you got to do some research or get references from your hotel
I have not watched enough , but I watched this one. Now I need to watch them all. I am coming back for a couple days. I have a plan (my plans don't always work) HaHa. I will go to one area. (arronindissement). Which ons do you think would be funnest? #2 or ... Be bold and tell! 🌴🌴Aloha
I hope you enjoyed this wander into the 2nd arrondissement! Grab all my recommendations in my guide at parisinmypocket.com and thank you for watching!
I love the deuxième. Spent a lot of time in that area

They did an incredible job with it
Love the 2nd - loved Canard et Champagne in Galleries Vivienne. Had a dream last night I ran into you in Paris and was asking how Cooper was
2:06 mad et len - my favorite candle/perfume shop is in there.
So fun, Jay! The 2nd is one area I’ve not spent a lot of time in. This video definitely gave me several reasons to go. Thank you!
Any time!

All the best to you and Coop!
I stayed 4 nights in the second. Walking around to eat and shop, it felt isolated from tourists. I loved it.
It's amazing
Fond memories. I stayed on Rue Montorguiel in a sweet little apartment above Le Compas. Great neighborhood to come home to.
It is indeed

Loved seeing my local coffee roaster 3FE in this!
Loved the series. Have you considered making prints of your handmade arrondissements map available for purchase?

Looking good Jay!
Hi, Jay! Hope you are well! Just stumbled on this! Could you please point me to the song track you used at 4:08? Thnkx in advance!
The last two times I tried to visit the BNF it was closed so now I have another place to go in Paris. Thanks for showing it.
Hopefully next time!

8:58 Do more videos on them. That could be a bonuts episode.
Adore this.
This was brilliant, as would be the chart on my wall …….pleaseeee
Going to open the draw in next week's Patron post! Should be live on Patreon on Tuesday 🍻🍻
Love the area around Sentier! Have you ever tried “KAPUNKA”? Thai place. It’s one of my “go tos” when I’m in town. Delicious. 🤤
Not yet! But will have to go!
It’s Part 1 of the Grand Finale! Also, yes to more Food and Drink.
Among everything else, outstanding tip on Google Translate for museums! Cool vid Jay, beautiful tour...as always very well done!! 🏆
Glad you enjoyed it!

Or buy my guide at parisinmypocket.com and never throw a smoothie away again 🍻
BNF Richelieu (I love saying that) is the library I’d like to visit.
It's so cool

Good flow. So, do you live in Paris? We are going there this winter. The most beautiful city in the world.
Yes I do! Glad you enjoyed the video - there are many more on traveling to Paris if you check out my channel.
The hand drawn map, 🤌
🍻
♥️🍀 nice ♥️🍀
Who doesn’t love Cooper?😎
Only people to beware 😆
And Boneshaker is fully vegan! I work near there, me and my colleagues tried it. No one could tell it was!
It's solid to say the least
note to self: buy popcorn for next weekend's arrondissements binge fest!
I hope it makes a solid binge!
@@JaySwanson I know it will! I have absolute faith in you😊
this guy eats better than a millionaire ! .....
dude 11 freaking minutes for 2 coffee shops 1 library and 1 museum. Not good.
Thanks for watching!
