The Black Hawk Talon puts out 170lbs of thrust where the Siminini only puts out 145lbs of thrust. The German made FreshBreeze has a better reputation for reliability but both motors cost just under $7000. The Black Hawk all up weight is 65lbs where the FreshBreeze comes in at 85lbs. I think the FreshBreeze is noticeably quieter than the Blackhawk.
I think the Blackhawk is a better fit for pilots over 215lbs or who are not strong enough to carry the Freshbreeze's 85lbs during takeoff.
I think the FreshBreeze is the better option for pilots who have the strength to carry the heavier FreshBreeze and who are under 215lbs. I think the reliability and long term low maintenance will trump the extra cost and weight for these pilots.
