When you knock a character down, you need throw as much punch as you can to get health back faster. Also, never be afraid to interrupt an opponent who's about to hit you by punching them in the face first. You might get a star, but stuff like that is easier if you have practice, so not really recommended for the first playthrough. But practise mode is always in Exebition (the last oponent where you stuck)

Hey bro in world circuit it will be a lot harder, sometimes the enemies will taunt and will be yellow for a second, in that time, hit them on the face, and you will need to block and dodge, but mainly dodge, and with the star that you gain use them for star punches, you can use them by holding the A and swinging your arm, same with left star punch but instead of A you use C. Thats all i gotta say, Keep it up man!

@@GamingWithMeech well it's just like that in the Wii but like remastered-ish and here's a little tip if you already did do title defense there's last stand if you win at 10 or 16 you unlock champion mode and trust me it's not what you think, let's just say it's like one punch man in a nutshell and there's a secret fighter god I wish DashieGames would play this.
@Beessokoo1coo1 Man that sounds crazy. I was always a little bit weary of playing the original punch out but now I think I will give it a try. They are so many Arcade style boxing dance out there that I would like to play while also playing other great games on the channel.

try blocking more. Honda is quick but his punches are lacking, so is tiger
Yeah Dodging Is always my first instinct So I really have to get used to blocking.
