Man diggin that car!! I have a chance to get a 100 percent original 54 bel air 2 dr post. Green paint and keys in ignition. I think your video was a sign!
That's gonna be a cool car because you're allowing it to remain as a '53 Chevy. It's great to see that you aren't going to butcher it and modernize it and make it I to some hideous monstrosity. It looks like it'll be a really nice working Joe's daily driver with a little extra. I wish you well on this one. CHEERS!
@@Shiftyspeedshop Back when those kind of cars were plentiful and you could buy them for $75, it didn't matter so much. I used to see '57 Chevys in the demolition derby. People made crazy hot rods out of them and wrecked them every day, and nobody cared. They were just old junk. Now they're all getting very scarce and expensive, so it just seems like the right thing to do these days is to keep them close to stock and try to preserve them as much as humanly possible. What they lack in technology and sophistication, they make up for in solid ruggedness and cool factor. They're all part of our history, so they deserve respect. I'm happy for you finding this one, and it looks like it's got a good home.
Good stuff!! Can't wait to find my 53
Going to be a nice car when done. Thanks for keeping it mostly original 🙂
No problem 👍
Looks like a good atart on collecting parts, keep up the good. work
Thanks, we are prepping the engine now. Once we get it ready, we will start on my favorite part, installing the drivetrain!
