That is a very nice looking '53 Chevy truck and shop you have there and it only took a week or so to ramp it up. I'm excited for you and Ester with the new shop coming, it's going to be exciting to see if Pablo gets an office or doggy door... Take care my friend.

I feel for you Brent. I was watching you do the flare and was thinking "oh no he doesn't have his favorite flaring tool anymore". then your welding and I I thought oh man no more graphics on the welding helmet because it's new. Just hope when your new shop is done you feel at home in it.

That truck reminds me of that black 59 Chevy that you put the LS in a few years back. That was a very nice truck. It was simple and functional. Pretty much your trademark. Lol

Nice truck. It sure is an easier solution than putting all the modern stuff on the old frame rails. It brings back a lot of happy memories, as my buddy had a 50 GMC, lowered, on the stock frame. I liked the design as it is, but I shouldn't talk because my 34 Ford had a 3 inch chop, and was channeled down to the running boards.

Cool, I have a 1953 five window. It has a 283 and a posi rear end. An LS would be sweet.

Had the same rear taillight brackets for my 51, had to modify them to fit. 🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍
What a nice truck. I hope you can get your plasma table going soon. You probably used that more than anything.
1952 & 1953 we're the only years that had push button for handles and vent windows, with the original grill. 53 had a 60lb oil pressure gauge.
It will look good when finished. I used to own a 53 until It threw a rod thru the side of the block. I like the matte black look.
