Of all the e-bikes I’ve ridden the Tenways CGO600 PRO is one of the best. It’s a complete package for a really good price. If you are looking for a city bike with good range, nice features like sensitive torque sensing and high-end build quality, it should be on your wish list for sure.

Tenway has definitely peaked my interest ahead from other established brands. Really nice bike.
Thanks for the review! 😆 We've enjoyed watching it!
Looks like a very good option for a commuter. Obviously biased towards riding on smooth surfaces, but in that environment, a light bike like this with those aesthetics and range would seem to be very attractive.
It's not light, it's medium 18-19 kg, not 16 kg. They do not show you the label at the bottom tube which says the real weight. It's 16 kg without battery.
I'm seriously considering it for my city commute. Besides adding panniers and a water bottle cage, I think a suspension seat will be the only add-on.
Just to follow up, I learned there are no bottle cage bosses on this bike, so you're stuck mounting a cup holder on the handlebar :(. The good news is Tenways has very responsive support, answering my many questions.
Could you ride it outside the city as well? Of course not on mountains, but like a ride around a lake with forests
Which other bikes are they releasing this year? I am interested in buying the bike in a few months.
Thanks for the video!
Lovely well informed technical review with good accurate information unlike some. Thumbs up!
Great review! I´m sold!
I just got this bike for my work commute and its terrific. About 2/3 of my trip is on a gravel path and the bike does great, much faster than I can go on my unmotorized gravel bike. I have no trouble flying up hills that require me to stand up on a non motorized bike. If you weigh 200 lbs and never ride a bike this is probably going to be underpowered for you but for me its perfect. Its also a great looking bike, with high quality construction.
😊
Can it go beyond 25kmph with pure muscle power?
I tested the old version and it kind of provided a lot of resistance as soon as I wanted to go beyond 25kmph.
Finally a nice video on this bike.
How would you compare this to the Aventon Soltera single speed? Thanks!
How tall are you and what is your frame size?
Thank you for the review :)
Can someone let me know what is the best way to swap the brake levers left right please since I’m not used to the EU standard. I want it to be in UK standard. Thanks 🙏🏻
The pro version makes this similar to the Urtopia e-bike. Really cool!
Great review. I plan on getting one too but Tenways hasn't launched them in the UK for some strange reason.
They deliver to the uk and have done for a while
I thought this was supposed to be a comparison, not just a review of the new bike???
How do you know about the 4 upcomming bikes?
Very nice detailed video✌🏼
Exactly my question! Should we wait for an even better version?
Really nice bike 🎉
Hi. How to increase speed in this bike?
Will this fit someone 5'7''? I hope they will release a step-through version for the Pro as well.
The Tenways website has a size chart.
well, I am 5'7 , or 170cm, and I just got a medium size CGO600pro this week. with a few minor seat and steer adjustments it rides between sporty and comfy. use: commuting and casual riding
Belt drive is an excellent choice for a market segment that probably never turns a wrench and has no thought about bike maintenance schedules.
As someone who has an erratic work schedule, I prefer not to have to worry about maintenance for my commutes. When I'm biking casually, sure, I build in time to check & tweak things.
Look good nice bike
How different from WAU BIKE?
this seems way better than a vanmoof
Price
shame that the rear mudgard was damaged
Not really a good comparison regarding the actual ride, this was more of a whats the difference version than a comparison.
In 48 hrs, mine will be delivered… 😅😊
Wow! That's exciting! You'll have great fun with it, keep us posted!
@@tenwaysebike it definitely is SMOOTH. The assist is much stronger in stage 1 than I expected. I tend to keep it in it, only when uphill or headwind stage 2 or 3 are necessary.
Love it!
@@AlpiD3BT Thank you for the good words! Have fun riding 🥳⚡
Can you please share your height & frame size?
@@charlienyc1 hi, I'm 170cm tall and the bike is medium sized. Saddle is lifted appx 5cm, 2cm slid forward and the steer tilted towards me a bit. Rides like a charm, something between sporty and comfy.
I have some other experiences. The bike weighs 18-19 kg including the battery. So not a real light bike and not 16 kg as claimed by Tenways! The label on the bottom of the battery tube reads 18.2 kg. Also has a CDN belt and no CDX (CDX these are just the sprockets).
Rear light is battery operated. Headlight weak at 20 lux and shines not far but close to the road so you can't see enough in the distance.
Paint is easily damaged, especially on rims. Tires wobble, wheels misaligned. Parts, assembly and rims are not of high quality and there are still quality control issues.
The app is not working properly. I'm a bit disappointed with the bike :( (1800,- it's not a very cheap bike either) and would have preferred to know this beforehand.
If you're unlucky, you're sending repair parts back and forth. :(
Part marketing bike. There are plenty of alternatives.
What are competing bikes in the same price range? It seems for the costs the features are still really good, even though your experience might've not been great. You can still place your own lights on it with batteries if you want better lights I take it. Tire and wheels issue can indeed be due to bad quality assurance. I don't expect the app of a 1800eur bike to be all that special to be fair. But thank you for your comments I'll wait a bit longer I guess wanna see what else comes out this year.
I equally think it’s not a bad bike for the price however weighting up either this or the hornbike u14 which is around the same price or slightly cheaper…any thoughts?
It's lighter than other commuter bikes I've seen with a belt drive.
😂
Sorry this is not a review but unboxing and just a quick ride. For a review you will need to test it for at least weeks.
