I needed this today, I lost my husband of 20yrs he passed away on Aug 5th. 2019 my heart is so broken and I do feel lost. But I know my Lord decided to take him home and he's at peace no more pain and is at peace and I'm so thankful for that!!! I love my Lord with all my heart!!!!! I’m a mom... I can’t imagine what you must be dealing with. And nothing I can say will make any sort of impact stronger than what you’re feeling I’m sure. So I’ll just say this. If your baby were here with you, I doubt he’d want to think of you “finishing out your life”. He’d want to think of you as the strong, happy , laughing, loving person he knew.
It’s ok, it’s good, to live happily. It honors his life for you to live well. Don’t feel guilty for living well. Don’t feel guilty for finding happiness again. Don’t lose his amazing mother too. ♥️

You don't need to be "religious" to know the Lord. People feel lost because they don't know the Lord. HE IS the lost part of their lives. I know he is real. I have always had faith , but he LITERALLY revealed himself to me after my husband passed away , and I had a nervous breakdown. He sent a 76 year old Godly woman to become my mentor. Through her , God LITERALLY hugged me and spoke to me , after I cried out to him. Silently in my mind I told him that I wished he could hug me. Suddenly (Miss June) put her arms around me and pulled me close , hugging me. Then she spoke words into my ear that nobody knew except God. I knew who it was! I felt a love like no other. He wanted to comfort me. (Miss June) was a willing and faithful vessel he used to do this. I have witnessed many amazing things of God. That is why when people say that God does not exist , I feel sorry for them. I pray for them.

Lizzie, you are right! You are a daughter of earthly parents, but most importantly, you are a daughter of your Heavenly Father. When we realize that Heavenly Father loves his children so much that he made the ultimate sacrifice to send his son and die on the cross for us, we realize that the sacrifices we make in our life are for Him. Sometimes, the best sacrifice we can make is to not choose to stay hurt and defeated on the ground, but to stand back up again in the name of God. I am so proud of you! I wish there was a Heavenly Mother too. It just seems like the maternal spirit is missing from monotheistic religions. It is sad. Everyone knows we all came from an earthly mother, but for some reason a "He" birthed us in the spiritual realm. It makes no sense and it is the main reason I am not religious. I am very spiritual and that is enough for me. The maleness of religion and all the He and Him and Father and Son Jesus but no daughter, no Her...it is very unfulfilling for me. I don't understand how other women don't question it more. Women are just as spiritual and just as capable of spiritual enlightenment as men are. But we do not have a female role model like Jesus. Mary's big accomplishment is giving birth as a virgin. Her worth was only in her virginity. She was a "vessel" and nothing more. Where is woman Jesus?

Susan Darby, I agree that it is sad that women are not recognized for their accomplishments more. However, I learned from a young age that there is a heavenly mother too. I was taught at home and in my church classes. I asked myself for a long time how there could be a Heavenly Mother if she is not mentioned very much anywhere in the world. I finally asked and one day received the answer that Heavenly Father has mentioned the existence of a Heavenly Mother few times in the scriptures because he does not want her existence to be spat on, dragged, and made unsacred like the knowledge of a Heavenly Father and his holy son has. Women are holy and are given beautiful gifts from God to create life and to reach the hearts of those all around us with the soft, good, and unique spirits we were given in the pre earth life. I believe that God keeps women sacred because of a parallel to the moral, “if you catch a fish, you feed a man for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.” This parallels to women because if you save a man he will be thankful for the rest of his life, yes, he will do what he can to share the message, but he will never be able to reach the hearts, spirits, and souls of those around him like a woman can. Men are given separate and other holy gifts from God as well, but that does not diminish or unsanctify the divine gifts that God has given women through the gift of womenhood. If you save a woman, you can save generations of souls. These are all things I know to be true because I have studied and learned them for myself. This is not a religious bash at all, I am actually quite impressed by your understanding and desire to understand who you are and what should be and what is.

..We don't need a relationship with a religion. We only need a relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. He loves us more than anything. I have LITERALLY had God hug me and speak to me using the arms and voice of a 76 year old Godly woman who he sent to me to become my mentor. She had several gifts of the Holy Spirit. Pentecostal people believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. ( I'm not talking about water baptism.) It's like John the Baptist said.........." I baptize with water , but there is someone coming who will baptize you with fire". That is the fire of the Holy Spirit. Many religions don't teach that this is for today , but it is. We need it now more than ever. Just read about it in Acts. Paul said " I'm glad that I speak in tongues more than you all" He also said " FORBID NOT! THE SPEAKING IN TONGUES. " 1 Corinthians 14:39. God spoke to me about things that nobody else knew. He hugged me to comfort me , after my husband died , and I had a breakdown. I felt his love , a love like no other. I love him more than anything. ❤

Thank you for this video! I've been distant from Christ for a while now. I haven't been making my relationship with Him a priority. I have felt Him trying to pull me closer and I've been resisting. I need to let go and let God.

Update: I have fully surrendered my life back to Christ! I have never felt so close to Him as I have the past week or so. He is such a faithful and good Father! No matter how far we try to run, we can't outrun His love.
I pray that every person would be able to see just a glimpse of His love for them. It changes everything.

I too was so out of whack with my priorities, I allowed the world and others to run and rule my life! Till I had an epiphany in June of 2018! In December of that year my sister took me to a Penance service where I came back to the church! I’ve never felt so connected and grounded in my faith! Reconciliation and getting into your daily rosary and novenas will keep you there! Peace be with you Lizzie!
