Good video, I would point out though that you can take almost full ammunition with the Abrams without compromising the survivability, so long as that ammo contains no more than a handful of HEAT shells. For 120mm equipped Abrams, that's full load -5 (technically six but the last round will always be loaded on spawn), in this configuration all of the ammo is stowed in the bustle which is equipped with blowout panels. The 6 extra hull rounds are also technically protected, but riskier since they are often hit from the crew compartment by otherwise poor shots. As for other tanks, I mostly agree. For Leopards you should bring no more than 5 extra rounds (1 for breech+bottom row of hull rack), since any more than that seriously compromises survivability on what is otherwise the most survivable line of vehicles in game currently. For Type 10s/90s bringing only the bustle ammo will help survivability somewhat, but not substantially since the frontal arc is poorly protected and likely to spall out 2 or more crew when hit regardless, thus it comes down to a calculus of "do I want longer sustainment if I can avoid being hit, or do I want a marginally higher hit survival rate." Also worth noting, that as of right now there appears to be a bug with blowout panels where perforations to the protective door between the crew compartment do not lead to lethal deflagrations. Best of luck to any new players, as a 4-nation top tier ground and 2-nation top tier air veteran I can vouch for the accuracy of this man's suggestions.
Correction, I disagree on one other point, crew experience is vitally important to enjoyability. If you are playing a country like Japan, France, Russia, or China where the top tier vehicles are equipped with autoloaders this is far less important but still beneficial. However, to bring the full potential out of other NATO vehicles you will absolutely want to max out at least the reloading, aiming, and leadership skills, as otherwise your reload, slew rate, and ability to slew both axis at once will be highly noncompetitive and you will die. Reload skill and qualification is the difference between whiffing a shot and getting a second chance, and whiffing a shot and getting punished. Also be sure to reinvest your SL earnings into qualifying your vehicles for their crews, it is especially expensive at top tier, but equally necessary to ensure you have a competitive reload for the high speed gameplay.
Thanks for your detailed insight 🙏 I’m actually working on another video right now detailing crew power leveling because you’re not the first to say that.
@@LeftyTheHefty Thanks for the response and taking my opinion under consideration. For what my anecdotal experience is worth, I've found throwing 1000ge or 6.6$ dollars (assuming buying just 1000ge itself) at a crew solves most of their issues. It provides enough for a pilot to max out all their major skills and some of the defensive gunner ones (g-tolerance is crucial for high tier air, you will blackout constantly and either die to missiles you weren't allowed to flare or compress into the terrain trying to hide from radar missiles without it.) As far as ground crews go, the same will get you maxed driving, gunnery, reloading, and leadership, with a bit of surplus for vitality. It still won't make you anywhere near as powerful as someone with a 150-level crew on an aced vehicle, but it's a start, and outside of the aforementioned skills the rest are comparatively meaningless. Anyways thanks again for bothering to read all of this, and trying to do the community a public service of making the new players less clueless. Should be mandatory reading for clickbait buyers, might help how atrocious the winrates are for America a bit. Then again I've watched plenty of fellow SEPs leave after 1 death if they couldn't get in their F-16s so maybe not.
@@Minebrawlzzz Lol you think 10.0 Russia is bad, try playing ~11.3 America. The AIMs and clickbaits have turned half or more of every team into bumbling incompetents. Very disheartening to lose 2/3rds of matches through no fault of your own, and a big part of why I've shifted to grinding other nations. The Russian 10.0 wallet warrior lineup is phenomenal, and quite noob friendly compared to the Abrams.
Thank you I only one question my friend, can you also help on graphic settings? For some reason I'm having hard time to detect enemy tanks from far away.
No. Enemy armor concealed by foliage is a real problem in real life and it is appropriately a serious problem in the game. In GRB you need to be ultra-paranoid about every treeline and elevated position to look for any hard angles and straight lines out of place. There is no setting you can turn down DayZ-style to just automatically see the enemy. Sorry
From start it looked like good video, but when i heared you dont need use gold on crew when u buy premium, i wanted tear out my hairs.... Worst advice.. Always use GOLD on crew if u dont have decent crew(reapirs, vitality, reload, etc.)! After 19K battles i know what im talking about.
Agreed, crew should come first, in general, and in particular for nations with manually loaded guns. Premium should also be acquired if possible though, double SL and RP rewards are nothing to scoff at, especially with premium/talismanned grinding lineups like those discussed here.
@@jaggaaff5606 Straight up bad advice for air, and highly questionable for ground. Your ground crews start out unable to even move the gun vertically and horizontally at the same time. Expecting to be able to jump in and do well at high tier with a reload ~2 seconds slower than optimal and gun handling that poor is foolish. Air is even worse because your pilot will completely g-lock from slight turns and make normal engagements and evasions impossible. Crew skill is the most blatantly pay-to-win thing in game, and if you want to be even remotely competitive you are going to want to get your basics power leveled as soon as possible.
@satomonster568 crew skills are a waste of GE. Learn the game and the vehicles you're operating first. You're supposed to level the crew up as you go through the TT. Don't have mickey mouse brain rot and buy the 60 dollar top tier with your mum's CC at level 20.

very quick, as a veteran, this is great

such a short video, yet it covers everything a wallet warrior would need to know. nice
This is such an entertaining video I can relate to the frustrations shown in the video
As a f2p player, this certainly helped :D
Best crash course I've seen on top tier!!

that’s 3 more than you need
