I’m a dual national, born in the U.S. and now also an Australian citizen. Today, after not voting in an U.S. election since Obama, I sent in my ballot via Express Post. I really didn’t believe I would have to vote in another U.S. election, until the traitor. I voted Democrat for everybody on that ballot. To do anything else threatens world peace. That is how it is viewed from overseas, my friends. I’m just acting locally and thinking globally. I spent good money and not a little effort to vote. Think you might take a little wander to your polling place on Election Day?

No, SheCanDance, YOU just don't get it. We live in a global world now and there is no going back, it's just not possible anymore. And your logic is a fallacy, anything that threatens world peace is definitely a concern for America - war is a costly thing, after all, and our treaties and agreements would require us to get involved - and if we pulled out of them no one would ever be willing to trust our country's word again.
Moreover, The Electoral College was literally created to prevent 'uneducated' ordinary non-landowners from having too much power over who gets elected. Freedom of Speech is not freedom from consequences that naturally arise when we say hateful things with no basis, no one is trying to keep people from following whatever religion it is they want, Democrats are the ones asking for the thorough investigations, which is part of due process, and 'innocent until proven guilty' has always applied only in the courtroom, it was never intended to prevent outside observers from forming their own opinions until the trial was over - also, if you're referring to the Kavanaugh allegations, sexual assault is notoriously difficult to actually prove happened without video evidence for many, many reasons that I won't go into right here - regardless of whether or the allegations are true.
As for the assault on the Right to bear Arms, it is true that most democrats want tighter control on guns. But one must keep in mind that the Constitution was written back when single-shot rifles that took minutes to reload were the best guns around, and today we have military-grade automatic assault rifles that citizens have relatively little trouble acquiring or creating a fascimile of. No one is saying that we should keep responsible, level-headed citizens from having pistols for self defense. We're just saying that mentally unstable high schoolers should not be able to get the tools to gun down their classmates. We're saying that maybe, just maybe, citizens don't need military grade guns, in the same way that we don't need or want privately owned nukes or mustard gas. It's just a little excessive, I think. And I know what you're thinking, so let me just say here that the Slippery Slope argument is a logical fallacy, at least according to my high school psychology textbook.
And no, it's not that you're unenlightened, it's not that you're deplorable, it's not even that Trump-supporters are stupid, it's that you have been fed misinformation and you believe it. It's that the way the internet and search engines are set up make it unlikely for you to encounter news stories and arguments that you don't already agree with, unless you go out of your way to search for them. It's confirmation bias. If a mugger is stopped by the police on a sidewalk right as they're about do assault a bodega, they'll be charged with attempted robbery. If the crime is committed, but no injury or damage is caused, it's still an attack. For example, if you're attacked with a knife and it just so happens you're wearing a vest and the knife doesn't go through, you were still attacked an can press assault or even attempted murder charges.
The only reason not to call this an attack, but an attempted attack, is to downplay the significance. Which will blow up in their face when they switch their gears to claim it's a false flag.

At the beginning of an event on black leadership, President Trump told the crowd an arrest had been made in the investigation of bombs sent to prominent Democrats and Trump critics.
"I am pleased to inform you that law enforcement has apprehended the suspect and taken him into custody. It's an incredible job by law enforcement," he said, adding that it was a "special day."
Just before Mr. Trump was scheduled to deliver remarks for Turning Point USA's black leadership summit at the White House Friday, law enforcement officials arrested 56-year-old Cesar Sayoc in Florida.
"These terrorizing acts are despicable and have no place in our country," the president said. We must never allow political violence to take root in America. I'm committed to doing everything in my power to stop it," Mr. Trump vowed.
He also praised U.S. law enforcement for doing "an incredible, incredible job" and called it the "best in the world." And he called on Americans to unify and "show the world we are united in peace and love and harmony."
Mr. Trump, who condemned political acts of violence from the same room earlier this week, had taken a more heated approach on Twitter, blasting the media for how it has covered his response to the saga.
"Funny how lowly rated CNN, and others, can criticize me at will, even blaming me for the current spate of Bombs and ridiculously comparing this to September 11th and the Oklahoma City bombing, yet when I criticize them they go wild and scream, 'it's just not Presidential!'"
In subsequent remarks to the group, Mr. Trump sounded the themes of his campaign, talking about his appeal to African Americans. He reminded the group that when he was running for president, he had asked black Americans to take a chance on him. "'What the hell do you have to lose?' Remember? Remember?" he asked the crowd. African American unemployment has dropped, "the lowest level ever recorded in the history of our country," he declared, to cheers in the room.
Mr. Trump talked about immigration, saying that illegal immigration is harmful to African American and Hispanic workers because their wages are being depressed. And he brought up the caravan of Central Americans making their way north through Mexico to the U.S.

I think whenever they talk about the winner of the lottery, they should talk about the total losses, too. I looked it up. For that $1.6 billion winner there were roughly $4.8 billion in ticket sales. Not sure how much went to prizes, but the only real winners were the guys who pocketed other people's money for running the scam.
