Improvise, adapt, overcome nice job mate! I live in the states so maybe I get a little spoiled. I'm about to go 124ci really stoked about it. Dig your vlogs....
Thanks brother, man it's a pity for my sake that all the sweet aftermarket harley parts are made in the states. The conversion rate to Au and the cost of shipping is a killer. You should do a couple of vids when you go the 124ci, that thing will rip 🔥🔥🔥🤙
love all your videos TGM. informative without being patronizing. could you please paint the tab at the rear of the seat, the silver against the black fairing hurts my eyes 🤣. I did similar with a seat, just used 'plasti-dip'. still on there for 8years plus.(don't intend to insult you)
@@TheGingybeardMan oh ok it wasn't showen in the video thats why. did u do then yourself? if so do you have a video or just a tip on how? im trying to do mine on the 2019 fat bob.
It shouldn't be any harder to depress, if anything it should be lighter. The clutch on this bike is a cable clutch and not a hydraulic one and is still very easy to pull in.with 2 fingers.
Just off eBay mate, I'm sure you could find one cheaper somewhere. www.ebay.com.au/i/202712912812?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-139619-5960-0&mkcid=2&itemid=202712912812&targetid=920064925573&device=m&mktype=pla&googleloc=9047628&poi=&campaignid=10101785249&mkgroupid=102311926540&rlsatarget=aud-786643580846:pla-920064925573&abcId=9300368&merchantid=7364522&gclid=CjwKCAjwh7H7BRBBEiwAPXjadk9vTmqGYEYhW84wOU824f0qlxIYsIc1mIIw7G3P8g4eyWjMcwSdnhoCoQMQAvD_BwE
@@peckharris3180thanks mate, yeah the drought is pretty rough, it was a very ordinary harvest for the farmers out this way. It's a bloody dust bowl out here and we're on level 1 water restrictoons. Fortunately there hasnt been any bushfires out my way 🙏
I finally got my Lucky Dave 13s. 13in. Handlebars. I put them on myself and only had to extend one wire set. I believe it was the switch housing on Right side. Clutch and Brake Cables are fine plenty of slack. Relocated turn signals to fork. I had Stage Two Low Toque Cam Installed. Bike is a Beast Runs Like A Scalled Dog. Ride Safe 👍👍🙏🙏
@@peckharris3180 good stuff man, those lucky 13s look sweet 🤙🤙🤙I plan on getting the stage 11 torque cam very soon. How do you find the increase in performance?
The levers look a hell alot nicer mate good work. I noticed the steel tag that holds the seat while u changed the lock bolt, will you be blacking the tag out to match the fender and bolt? Nice one keep it up
They're perfect man, wish I did it sooner hey. I use 3 fingers when using my clutch and brake lever and my pinkie finger remains on the grips. I noticed with the stock levers when I pulled them in the clutch lever would hit my pinkie finger which was uncomfy. Now with the shorty levers I dnt have that problem. Such a simple mod but I'm a big fan hey
Nice work!! I’ll have to find a powder coat shop around here
Great job, never thought about short levers for HD's
Beautiful work on those levers!! Look great on your Street Bob and custom fit. Excellent!!
Great video on DIY shorty levers Ginger 🇦🇺👍
Cheers man 🤙🤙🤙
They look great brother! Well done 👍🏼
Thanks mate, was able to save quite a bit by not buying shorty levers 👍
Nice! I think im gonna do this on my yamaha bolt
Great vid buddy. Those shorty leavers look awesome

Great vid mate. I've done the diy shortys on my bike, came up a treat.
Thanks man, It's a great little mod and certainly simple enough 🤙
Nice job bro they look really good on it
Looks good!!!
Looks great mate😍, good DIY vid easy to follow 👍👍🤙🤙🇳🇿🇳🇿
Thanks Nathan, it's a simple mod but I think it looks the goods 🤙
Well done...looks great!!

Nicely done broski 👍🏼🇺🇸
Cheers man 🤙🤙🤙
Good job!! 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
2 thumbs up bro. Nice 👍👍
Maybe put a bit of black paint on the seat "thingy" were you changed the bolt.
Thanks brother, Definantly will be doing that in the future. I dnt know why they have a silver mounting tab, it sticks out like a sore thumb.
Really great!
Thanks brother 🤙
great video.. how are they holding up so far? does the paint tend to peal off or fade after so much use?
I got them powdercoated so they're very durable. I've had no signs of any wear so far 👍

Can i do this to a sporster as well? Or the clutch and brake are harder to press?

Where’d you get the Allen bolt with the collar?

Just wondering , what are the advantages of having the shorty's compared to the regulars ?
Mate its mostly just for looks however some people find them more comfortable for use with 2 or 3 fingers
The Gingybeard Man Just wondering 🤷♂️

Nice DIY. They look good how you find them for use?
They're great Kris, so much more comfortable. I dnt squish my small finger when pulling in the clutch now cause I use 3 fingers.
Great video and craftsmanship! How are you liking the feel of them on a ride?
I really like them hey, for some reason they feel more comfortable.

That's not a good idea, there is a reason those ball ends are on there.
