Another great video as always, Holly. I couldn't agree more to live in a simple life that are more enjoying and happier. You are such a very wise young lady because not many young people realise the importance of gratitude. This really is a life changing for me too. I used to worry a lot, have a lot of anxieties, but once I started to appreciate things that I already have, I started to feel more happier. By the way, your dog is so cute. I am sure she brings you a lot of happiness every time when you see her. Please keep up with your good work and have a wonderful weekend. 😊
Thank you for your comment Raymond and lovely words! I couldn’t agree more how much more peaceful and relaxing a simple life feels. Removing all of the stressors that a more busy/exciting life can bring sometimes has been so liberating! Thank you too, she really is such a cutie☺️ Hope you have a great weekend too and thank you for watching!😃
Great job, Holly! I re-discovered simple living this weekend when my internet was cut off completely (technical issues). Now, I'm back in the Matrix! Greetings to the UK!
Haha that’s very much back to basics for sure! But not always a bad thing to step away from the internet from time to time and resort to other forms of entertainment😄 It’s the initial shock to the system though I suppose🤣 Greetings to you too!
New subscriber here from Southern California. I love your voice (so soothing) and your views on a simple lifestyle. I am currently binge watching your videos, whenever I can, and they are helping me immensely during a current stressful time I am going through. Love your channel.❤
Thank you for joining our little community!☺️ I’m so glad you’re enjoying my content so far and find it beneficial during this particularly difficult period! Wishing you peace and that this time will pass to bring you brighter days🫶 Plenty more content to come! Thank you for your support!✨ and greetings to Southern California!☀️
Wonderful I enjoyed every minute some I looked at twice I learned a lot that’s not saying much. IM 89 years old. Thank you I will enjoy the day. Take care God bless.
Yes, agree with all these simple living practices and have been practicing most of them. In city, its a little tough for me to find such open spaces outside, but still I try to visit the park whenever possible. I would like to add one thing to the list. The habit of reading a book/ novel before sleeping at night has a therapeutic impact on the mind. With the advent of internet, the reading habit is gradually decreasing. Whole day, our mind remains saddled with numerous issues. The instant gratification provided by short videos is ephemeral. Reading book of our choice helps to enhance our concentration span, relieves tension, improves sleep quality and also adds to our knowledge.
So glad to hear you’e practicing these tips too😃 Absolutely love that little habit too and is one I love to practice myself! I couldn’t agree more with what you’re saying and find it too very beneficial trying to wind down and switch off from the noise around us that’s been consumed throughout the day! It’s like borrowing someone else’s brain for a period of time and has definitely brought much benefit mentally and for sleep😊 Thanks for watching!☺️
I’ve gone from using expensive face creams etc to using natural oils. My skin has improved so much. The thing I struggle with is enjoying food. I need to try and get my enjoyment back in this respect. I’m working on that. I do practice gratitude each morning as I wake. I get up 6am every day so I have an hour before the world starts. Thank you for your advice.😊
Thank you for sharing this🫶 I do agree with a lot of expensive skincare, a lot of the time it’s just marketing and you can get the same results with simpler products! Sounds wonderful though and I love your perspective! Wishing you the best☺️
All great points for living a minimal, healthy lifestyle, Holly. Love the point that having a positive mindset full of gratitude every day. Curious, what do you use for skin care? I’m a guy, but I also like to have a daily skincare routine.
spiritual..emotionally..mentally and physically…being in nature recharges us in ways most people can’t imagine….most of the time people drag their life drama…cell phone and clutter with them into nature so they never feel the affects of the magic that can take place..the whole idea is to leave everything behind and give yourself a moment to embrace life and it’s Spirit and let it replenish the life in you…if we can just remember everything exists (including us) to help something else live …then we would see just how much magic happens every moment….if just the air we breathe or our sunshine was taken from us then everyone would understand how much grace has been granted to us…so if we can remain in a state of gratitude we always see the miracles that happen every moment that allows everyone to live..
Love to be able to take such steps, seems easy though I know I'll struggle somewhat at first.. I do love the mindset of it and would be great for my mental health and can see it's working for you 😊. That's some wholesome inspiration I can take away. Thanks for sharing. Wish you tranquility and blessings forever more. - a random Internet guy
It’s easier said than done for sure but I think that’s partly the reason these things so easily pass us by!🤷♀️ For me though tuning into the little things really has made such a difference to my mental and physical health so I hope this can be of benefit for you too😊 Really appreciate your support thank you! Wishing you the best☺️
Great video as always Holly and looking as beautiful ever in that lovely dress. You always talk a lot of sense and are so passionate about you life etc. You are an absolute sweetheart and a 'STAR', as always thanks for sharing your life. x
I like that you say that all food in moderation is good. A very balanced view. Gratitude is great, too. Simplifying things, as you say, makes it easier to do things, because you can put all of your efforts on fewer things.
Moderation is absolute key and I think that’s part of life’s biggest challenge… trying to find and maintain balance😄 I’ve just come to find over the years less really is more and things don’t need to be that complicated! If in doubt…. stripping back to basics always seems to be the answer☺️ Thanks for watching!😊
I would love for you to do a video on the "foods" you put on your face. I love the idea of natural skincare but, ssside from egg whites and castor oil, I don't really know what else is "tried & tested"
Yes absolutely!☺️ I have made note of a skincare and make up video to share the natural and “kitchen” remedies I use that work for me! Will make sure to get it filmed very soon🫶✨
I dreamed of the job that I have finally gotten, but now I'm almost 6 months into this job I find myself with almost no time for anything else, I'm sleep deprived and working almost 80 hours a week. And now I find myself watching your videos and asking myself is this job really what I want? I have always been a hard worker but I have always enjoyed the fruits of my labour in the form of evenings to myself and a nice long weekend to rest and recover. But now I'm almost certain my dream job isn't in line with living a joyful life.
Thank you for sharing this🙂 It’s natural to have these kind of thoughts during the transition period and realities of new life circumstances such as with a new job. Don’t be too hard on yourself at this moment in time as you may find a natural balance with things once you are more settled. It’s positive that you’re aware of this change though and the potential negative impact it could be having on you early on! My advice would be to take proper care of yourself and monitor the situation for a while if you can to gain some clarity of thought and move forward from there! Wishing you the best😊✨
Regarding your first point, look up the journal of biophilic design and forest bathing. Concerning food, I am on a low carb lifestyle and I've started enjoying cooking again because the recipes are so simple.
These tips are tremendously useful. I should have followed suit earlier, but have downsized twice (sort of) in the last few years. A smaller house means less time spent on maintenance, and less closet space so material goods are less likely to be wantonly accrued.
So glad to hear you enjoyed!😃 I couldn’t agree more. Since living alone in a little apartment following leaving the family home, each of my belongings mean a lot more and I’ve found it a more pleasant way to live with minimal clutter and things. Less really does mean more and makes way for a cleaner, calmer mind😊
Hi Holly
I have suffered with mental health for a long time , i have just found you , and you make so much sense……thank you.
Thank you for watching John, I’m so glad you enjoyed this and found some little tips helpful!☺️ Wishing you the best🫶✨

Simple living in a loud world is best medicine ever :)

Obesity has become a serious global issue, apparently “all food in moderation” is simplistic BS. Another You Boober talks crap.
