As a Bayern fan, no matter how much I enjoy winning - actually destroying teams, at the same time I feel pretty bad for Barcelona. They are European royalty with us and Madrid, so I hope they will return to the top, and it'll be even better if there's a lot of La Masia players leading the way.

It's really rare and amazing that an academy produced such talented and skillful players at the same era/generation. I think even Barca can't repeat that now.
There has been a lot of publicity about the Barcelona golden generation and Manchester United’s ‘Fergie’s fledglings’ but there has never been really any coverage of the 90s Liverpool academy graduates. McManaman, Fowler, Owen, Carragher and Gerrard all essentially came through their youth system in the space of a few years. Obviously they didn’t have the same success but the level of talent that came out together is amazing and worth highlighting.

You can't rely on teenagers they take some time to mature. Personally I think they should focus on la masia and transfers as supplimentary. And they should use experienced players for cheap transfers during the transition period of the older and newer la masia generations

Jordi Alba was not a La Masia graduate, he was bought from Valencia. Neither was Thiago Motta, he was bought when he was 17-18. If he is a La Masia graduate then Vinicius would be a Castilla graduate..

2. Could you please please write out some of the names of the people you're showing in your videos? Not necessarily everybody, of course, since the likes of Messi and Iniesta should be recognized by the drawings, but some of the lesser known people.
3. One minor correction (I think): Fabregas didn't return to Barcelona before the summer of 2011, so he wasn't actually able to contribute to the two Champions League titles. Ironically, he left in 2014 (which I still truly regret), so he missed the 2015 title as well.

@@CarlMarxPunk Not actually. He did play for atletico's academy but it was for only two years I guess. He went through many youth level of Real and and he debuted for the first team earlier than most players. Just because he played for atletico for some period doesnot mean he was atletico's product. Same goes with Morata, Llorente etc. And yes more Madrid youth products play in Europe's top 5 leagues than barca's at the moment.

Jordi Alba was not a La Masia graduate, he was bought from Valencia.
