- Welcome to We The People Outdoors.
On this episode, myself, Mike Buck travel to one of Ohio's early cemeteries to explore some of the town's earliest settlers. Join me as we tour through some of the old grave stones and uncover the history of some of the first to be buried here.
If you guys enjoy the cemetery tour videos, let me know. I'm thinking about possibly doing a series on small town cemeteries as well as looking into cleaning up old headstones. Let me know if that's something you all would be interested in.
If you enjoy this content, feel free to like and subscribe. There will be a variety of history related and outdoors videos coming up. Hope to see you back!

I loved visiting this cemetery growing up knowing that many of my ancestors are buried there.
Beautiful old gravestones ❤
O.M. and E. Bailey went through so much, that poor couple. Two sons that died on the same day, and a son that died two weeks before them. To lose three children in less than three weeks must just be the deepest grief imaginable. And a daughter 9 years prior. May they all rest in peace.
Hard to imagine having to go through that. Appreciate you watching!
Oh the memories I have of this place. If you find the top half of a fenwick ugly stick fishing pole it’s mine and would appreciate if you could return it. My innocence was also lost there but that is something that can’t be returned. Thanks for posting this video!
Beautiful place and some intricate stones 👍🏼
Thanks for watching and appreciate the sub!
I love walking around old cemeteries. Thanks for bringing us along with you. Mike at Metal Detecting NC has cleaned up headstones with great results. He used a product called D/2 Biological Solution.
Thanks buddy! I saw the D/2 as well. Most likely home pick some up and try and bring some stones back to their former glory. Thanks for watching man!
Love researching the history of people from the past
Thanks for watching Luke! Sad to see some of these stones deteriorating so badly. It's nice to document them though for others to enjoy.
A couple of mine were living in Valparaiso
Very informative video Mike. Thank you for bringing us along.
Thanks very much Gregory. Look forward to digging soon!
Its crazy how they were able to use such fancy script on these old stones. One part of my dads family were stone carvers back then. I dont know if it was just for tombstones though. Probably.
Such amazing history these people lived through and experienced in the development of our country.
Thanks buddy! So neat that we get to uncover their past and save items that were essential in their everyday lives back then!
Beautiful location. Thanks for sharing Mike!
Thanks for watching Shane! Different video than I'm used to but very neat history!
Thanks for sharing, the community should get together and clean those headstones to preserve what's left of their history, and all the young ones that passed makes me wonder if some of them were victims of Mrs Winslows soothing syrup and or a plague that afflicted them, I hope they all "rest in peace"
Thanks for watching Arnie! The town has less than a thousand people in it. I'm looking into possibly getting some supplies together and cleaning some of the headstones myself!
@@wethepeopleoutdoors awesome videos on what to use and what to do on UA-cam, there's a guy that does and his after-work looks amazing, his name slips my mind tho 😔
It’s Lois not Lots on the one stone. Thx for visiting this cemetery.
It’s always sad to see so many unmarked graves.
