I’m not in the market for new luggage but if I was, I’d be looking at the light and the regular. Don’t see the point of the Pro, it looks to me that the snap on could easily go walkabout in a busy airport.
I wouldn't recommend July, suitcases are heavier than listed on their website. Then when I asked for a return they wanted me to pay for my shipping when it was their false advertising that caused this problem. I specifically bought the suitcase based on the weight on their website which wasn't accurate.
I just got my July luggage! Delivered to me in the US. Got the carry on and large checked luggage in clay (gorgeous color) and burgundy. Been looking for weeks, compared it to Monos and Away. July has a slightly larger packing volume which is what made my final decision.
any chance to review their Carry All Weekender and Carry All Backpack? i dont like the name and logo, but their products looks pretty good and functional.
can these actually be taken in to the cabin and fit in the carry-on bins overheard, or under the seat in front of you? the pro's snap on sleeve does not seem like a compelling use case to me - you'd never keep your laptop/tablet in there for the duration as it is in a vulnerable position - for both damage and theft.
Not sure about in Australia, but in the US, they make you separate electronics from bags when going through security. The sleeve is nice so you can just snap it off without having to open your whole bag.
I placed my order for the "Ocean Blue" Carry on. One question. I am not the best packer, so who are some of the "packing hacks" on you tube you would recommend to look at? TIA
This is the question I have been asking myself and cannot find any answers from any of the reviewers. I even contacted July via email and chat and have received no replies. The question for me is also regarding the power bank. It would be great if the Carry-On Essential could, in fact, carry more things than the Carry-On Original and the Carry-On Pro, which are all listed as having the exact dimensions. The power bank and the laptop slot/case surely take on some space, one would think...Also, here, the reviewer claims it is 46L (and many others state the same), while on July's website says 42L for all three.
the regular (3.4kg) and the pro (3.6kg) are far too heavy for carry on luggage with carry on limits as low as 7kg. for comparison my 90 odd litre check-in hard shell is just under 3kg. free shipping and the quality/warranty look awesome but the weight is such a deal breaker. this trend of power banks in luggage is unnecessary too honestly sounds like something apple would do >_
Remember that your laptop doesn't count in the carry on limit if it's carried on you. Also, for some airlines with 10k limits this would be more appropriate. If you have a 7k limit you may want a different bag. - Daniel
@@RushfasterTV there are no airlines in Australia that allow 10kg carry on (with the exception of Jetstar if you pay extra for 14kg carry on but looking for a light bag for cabin baggage wouldn't be an issue then). So many other country's airlines allow 10kg. On so many videos people don't address the weight issue, just how much you can pack in a carry on.

Have you traveled with it yet? In between monos and July but haven’t seen any reviews after traveling and how it holds up
Nice luggage but they gotta chill with their July branding everywhere. Would be nice to see a version with less branding on the product.
4:29 that build quality....

They are good, I would say fairly heavy.
Thanks so much for watching :) Have a good one. Cheers!
If we check in the carry on pro, do you think the laptop sleeve can accidentally get unlatched from the carry on?
I think Tommy Hilfiger suitcase is also good.
Cool, I would like to see more videos on roller bags. These are a good option for people that can't carry a heavy travel backpack.
More to come!

Carry on cases like these will fit in the overheads. - Daniel

Does anyone know if the carry on pro sacrifice the space a little bit compared to carry on because of the laptop slot?

Struggling to choose between JULY or Samsonite

@@RushfasterTV Carry On Light with 1.8kg is not that bad.... its even better than my favourite Essential Lite Cabin S from Rimowa (2.1kg)
yep, those power banks and "smart" solutions just add up to the weight....
@@R1S0. I would love to have a “non-tech” carry on - I typically travel for leisure so I only bring a phone.

Was there a review for the luggage here or for all the other brands he is advertising, lol.🤣
Great review guys.
Thanks so much! - Daniel
Does it have YKK zippers?
Yes, it has YKK Japanese zippers. Cheers!
