First, look up what transgender means. Lin was born a female. Second, she was tested by IBA and allegedly shown to have xy chromosome. Third, some women CAN have xy chromosome as rare as that may be. You can argue that women with xy chromosome have an unfair advantage and should not compete in women sports. First, look up what transgender means. Lin was born a female. Second, she was tested by IBA and allegedly shown to have xy chromosome. But those test results were never published or disclosed despite repeated requests and protests from Lin. IBA doesn't exactly have a stellar history of being transparent and fair. Third, some women CAN have xy chromosome as rare as that may be. You can argue that women with xy chromosome have an unfair advantage and should not compete in women sports. It would be an ironic argument since these women are not men either. They are who they are, as nature intended. It wasn't a choice.

Probably one day in the near future in USA and most European countries, everyone must take a chromosome test and it will be the result of this test that will officially label us a male or female in our BIRTH certificate !
So this means that all those who have a natural penis since birth and truly FEEL that they are a true man too,
are still not 100% guaranteed a real man by the government.
And if they FAIL this chromosome test as a man even though they have a natural penis since birth and totally feel like a man,
but they will instead be officially labeled as a FEMALE inside their National Identity card.

I think Russians at that time just where pissed they were going to lose, considering that the head of iba is runned by a russian boxer who also lack any neurons for that reason could explain the issues with corruption and transparency in the iba. Also most times you can't really tell when someone is intersex or not, also there are other conditions that can cause androgenism wich are even more common. "Due to the North Carolina High School Athletic Association policy allowing biological males to compete against biological females my life has forever been changed," Payton McNabb, now a senior at Hiwassee Dam High School in Murphy, North Carolina, said during a Thursday committee hearing of the North Carolina state legislature.
McNabb indicated that, to this day, she is still recovering from her injuries, and continues to face other health struggles as a result of what happened, such as impaired vision, partial paralysis on the right side of her body, constant headaches, anxiety and depression.

Born DSD / Intersex (XY Male) with ambiguous genitalia and assigned 'female' at birth. Look up DSD / Intersex - lots of info out there. It is a small % of people born this way but it happens.
But this time in the Olympics they did the test and she passed meaning her testosterone is within eligibility. I don’t understand the issue
