A Superman game really isn’t as impossible as some people think. 1. It’s not that hard to manage how powerful he is. There are many versions of the character that can’t destroy planets in a single punch. We feel powerful as Kratos even though he can likely destroy continents within lore 2. His powers can be organized in weapon wheels and have a cool down. Maybe some are unlocked throughout the game 3. He may not be able to fight normal humans but you can easily make him fight super humans, robots, guys with kryptonite weapons 4. Flight isn’t really that hard to implement. Plenty of games have done it pretty well. The only challenge is making a player feel fast without crashing into buildings constantly Superman isn’t impossible to make a game out of, he just needs a group of passionate and great game developers with a good track record. Rocksteady would have been perfect
I think it’s more just the technical aspect as well where it may make it complicated to make. Programming must be hell for flight and many other things in gameplay
Kratos literally can kill gods capable of universal/multiversal power, and time breaking speed. Stuff not too far off from what Superman has done, yet they still made it work. Same thing for Dante, Doomslayer, Asura, and Bayonetta yet people still make this stupid excuse.
If people want even further proof, DBZ Kakarot is pretty well what a Superman game could be. Granted, I'd want a far more technical combat system, but that alone is proof that Superman could work in a game.

A Superman game can focus on Clark’s life as Superman as well his job as a reporter to break up the action. The story Clark is investigating could tie into the main villain. So much potential. I get where you’re coming from. However, personally I don’t think its a good idea to restrict cb games to just them. Remember, Arkham only exists because WB took their chance on a small indie studio. Insomniac were also a pretty unorthodox choice to create a Spider-Man game but they managed to pull it off beautifully. Taking risks with new studios is a good thing in my opinion.

The #1 roadblock to making a Superman game is an assumption that Superman is almighty and powerful enough to break gameplay, when in reality he's not. Western developers really need to learn how Japanese people perceive their superhero-like characters. They aren't afraid to showcase their characters' might and let them go on the wildest adventures while also pitting them against worthy foes to accommodate the power scaling and turn the hero's abilities into crucial gameplay features and selling points. There's also an entire franchise of video games where god-like super robots are paired up with some military hardware robots without any problems, just by clearly defining their strengths and weaknesses and then turning those into gameplay balance. People are more than willing to suspend their disbelief on "power level" as long as the games are fun.
I will never understand why a superman game is such a tough concept to adapt. He is far from the only canonically OP protagonists to be featured in a challenging game. The best example (others have stated too) is Kratos: a litteral god who cannot be killed without climbing back from the depth of hell, capable of lifting a million times his own weight along with a long list of powers and abilities yet the God of War games are a complete joy to play. And if the devs insist on nerfing down superman they can go for an origin story, kinda like the tv show Smallville where Clark unlocks his powers one by one as he gets older, he even doesn't have flight until the later seasons. They could make a game where Superman slowly becomes the unbeatable juggernaut we know. And even then he doesn't have to be completly OP he could face stronger and stronger foes and in the end have enemies that do require some work to beat. The comics are full of moments where superman is outmatched it's not such a foreign concept

The Superman Model in the VIdeoGame Menu looks almost identical to the model used in Injustice, which also came with a New 52 suit. Its possible they used the model as a placeholder to come up with a mockup of the menu, but to me it all points to the Menu being fake. Also the 2nd Menu "leak" is using the BvS suit, without really pointing out its that suit/incarnation, which is odd if its supposed to be a skin. So yeah, maybe it could be real, but I think the easier explanation when considering these is that its fake.
Regarding your second point about the second menu "leak" a lot of the screen is cropped out so we don't actually know what skin is being used. Also, I don't think it's the BVS suit. The cape seems to almost envelop the front of his body unlike the bvs suit, the patterning on the suit is missing, and the opening around the neck is completely different. The only similarity I can find is maybe the S symbol, but even that has slight differences You're right, There's the possibility that it's just a placeholder model that would be replaced later. Maybe the developers modelled the suit after it because they didn't have time to craft a brand new 52 skin. The menu could very much be fake, however, personally, I don't think it is. Plus, no one ever came out and claimed ownership nor do I believe we've seen those particular menu models of superman somewhere else. Obviously, I could be wrong.

It’s so tiring seeing Superman get shafted for either Batman for upteenth time, or D-listers like Suicide Squad.
The most iconic character in American pop culture, and yet it’s been 17 years without a proper Superman game IF you want to be nice to Superman Returns, despite it being ANOTHER rushed movie tie-in. You could make the argument that we’ve NEVER have had a proper Superman game due to all of them being tie-ins, which makes it all the more worse considering he’s been around for 85 YEARS.

? Well, if I didn’t reply then It’s likely because I didn’t see it. I get dozens of comments a day so it’s likely that I never noticed. Anyways, Batman Triumphant is not really something I find interesting so I’d probably never cover it. Superman Lives already has a documentary covering everything we need to know about it. If I were to make video covering it, the video would have to be elaborate and the best thing i’ve ever made.
