Perfect. A 30 minute project using old 2x4 boards left over from other projects. The hardest part was to find a good container for the water (my tree is larger than the one in this video). Holds better than the old plastic thing we had in the past (that we lost).

I've been looking at UA-cam designs and yours is the best! I'm a 67 yr old woman- I'll get the store to cut the wood for me, and I can drill screws. What size are they? I really like your idea of numbering the holes, very clever. Thanks so much!

thanks. smaller screws are fine. like #8 or #10. They just need to hold the wood together.

This also works with just 3 or 4 planks, just put some screws through the tree at the bottom and through the planks and you dont need to do any of the rest stuff

Could this tree stand support a 3 meter tall pine tree, or would it tip over in this stand?

3 metres is big. You'd have to make the legs longer, but yes I think the basic design can be adapted to any size tree. Just extend the legs and the uprights.
