- Making these giant light-up Christmas ornaments are actually fairly simple. Lot of people simply use a pie pan or tin pale and attach string. However, these instructions will show you how to light them up and really make a statement for part of your exterior Christmas decorating.
Here are the list of items needed in making the ornaments:
1) Large plastic/rubber ball from Target, Walmart or another retail/online store.
2) LED STAKE LIGHT - www.menards.co...
3) Tin Pail - www.ikea.com/us...

Christmas music would make more people watch! Great idea though.
no music would have been even better
Use a step bit for the hole. ❤
Thank you for your demonstration, I think I will be making these 😊 great idea! I have read the comments and seen some people are not to pleased with the background music, I can understand their reasoning, being someone whose hearing is going to the crapper as of late , but there is politer ways of of saying it. I also understand the the makers side with having to choose some rather garish public background music because they have limited choice in the video recording software they may be using. So come now be friendly, this is craft, even if there was no sound you can get the idea from the video, and if your not sure why not just ask the maker 😊
Very good job at telling people how to do it. Thank you so very much I will ffor sure have to do thins this year.
Nice tutorial, so well explained I can make it myself. Thank you for sharing!
Great idea but good luck trying to find big summer beach balls during the winter months unless you live in the warmer states and it’s something they carry all year long.
this are my fantasy coming true!!! I always wanted to buy these but could never afford them!!! Can not wait to do this with my kids!!!
Thanks for showing how to make a different ornament
Nice idea & clear instructions. Re the comments about the music .... well I did find it annoying, but not so much that I would complain about it. I think this is a great idea for an eye-catching, lit-up, outdoor decoration. Thanks.
Great idea and will have a go but using a plastic pail
Thank you so much!
I'm trying to suprise my parents with something.
This was a great tutorial! Thanks.

Now this i like. Very nice. 😊❤🙋🏽♀️

An example of why handmade items are pricey. It looked simple but takes quite a bit of skill. Great tutorial.
totaly awesome , genius
Wow really
Applying hot glue to the ball made it pop instantly.
So lovely I am glad you decided to share
Love your idea and I come from Melbourne Australia
Nice video. This is awesome. Thanks for sharing.
That's pretty cool! 😎
Great tutorial but why not initially punch and drill from the bottom?
Love the tutorial, thanks.
In cold weather, wouldnt the ball start to shrink?
The issue is ,will the light get heated over time and burst the ball?
I was wondering the same
The box of the lamp said LED so there will barely be any heat
He's married. He has a ring
@@cupidok2768 TF does that have to do with this video? The comment you replied to was about the heat of the lamp causing the ball to burst. 🙄☹️
@@Og-Judy this comment was 2 months ago. Omg. What does ur comment has to do with the present
How well does the silicon adhesive do its job in the wind, snow, and temperatures that swing from 50ºF to -5ºF in Dec/Jan?
Try running your hole saw in reverse. It should cut the metal fine.
I just downloaded the song. Its fire. Fuck the haters!
How well do these hold up in the elements?? Have you ever had a ball fall off of the bucket?
Could you link a similar light? I’m in Texas and not sure what to get… we don’t have mernards.
Love it
Cool video man!
Will that ball stay strong in cold temperatures.?
That was very good. I liked how you clearly explained each step. But...I really don't like how the music is distracting.
welp I like the music.
I like it
Did you have any problems with the light popping the ball ?

Says the guy tossing tools
His retirement ? Home Depot where retired tool guys think " my perfect tool shed "
Clever!
Looks nice but if you had more than a few to hang, you would be using a lot of extension cords.
The light doesn't get too hot for the ball?
Susie Stringer it's an LED light so jt shouldn't get hot.
What happens if the ball goes down?
doesnt the ball get soft in cold weather
So just over inflate it
Great video!
Thanks. I appreciate it!
I have made these but after about 3 days the silicone adhesive is letting go. I have already tried an epoxy and still no luck. Any ideas? The original silicone was clear DAP brand.
I'm having the same problem.. at least your's holds for 3 days I turn around and and hear mine hit the floor sooooooo annoying
will the bulb melt the ball?
What size is your ball? The large colored ball is the hardest item to find and this is the one item you didn’t provide a link for. It has proven difficult for me to find a ball that is not too small (or too large), is not so thick that it blocks the light (like an exercise ball), and has no surface texture/pattern. Please point us to the suitable ball you’ve found.
Like the video....But your speaking is too soft and music is too loud. I had to keep adjusting my volume.
Please where did you get the little metal-like buckets?
EAsier to use a plastic cup or pail. Hole saw would work.
Well I have a project this werkend
Play with the speed set on 2 😉
Personally, I'd glue the bucket OVER the barcode....as it's not something I want showing.
I was going to make some chicken wire light balls but I think ima make these instead
The caps keep coming off😔
Where did u get the led light from?
DJARDOSIN Menard's
How long do you need to let it dry before you spray
Spay? He didn't spray anything.
The needle is stuck,Same same,,,Mute
Ok
I liked the video but the music is really annoying, especially to someone not watching.
I like craft idea butter your music socks use Christmas better

Why does everyone think their poorly done DIY stuff needs crap music with it?
Its not poorly done. I made 2 and they are amazing! and the music isn't that bad. I think it's nice.
If you don't have anything nice to say just don't say it ;)
@@analogmoron3945 well it's like this hater. I have trouble hearing and when you can't understand what the person is saying because the music is to loud it's rather irritating. Also I could say what is really wrong with this video but I'd say the number of comments in a year and a half speaks for itself so I don't need to do. I disagree on your so called videos as being amazing. As a master electrician I have more than enough reason to say what he did is poor and not safe.
@@davidsuperdavelarson6174 You're such and ass this video is really good. are you to poor afford to make this? just stop whining and man up.
@@obama4986 Thank you, and if you can't hear than that's your own problem. don't complain about it.
@@davidsuperdavelarson6174 I will turn the volume down and add closed captioning. Perfect!
Please kill the loud music , it's very annoying. Thank you.
like he’s gonna fix that 2 years later
Does the lights get too hot for the ball to melt
