Hey Qazi, What are the best settings (render settings) for 8 bit (S-log) footage ?
Because when transferred to smartphone, footage looks horrible. (Same is the case with youtube)
How can graded footage remain same in all the devices.
Can you help ?

Dude, this tutorial is gonna be a life saver! I was struggling with GoPro footage due to the lack of camera profiles. I solved it more or less by using the DaVinci Wide Gamut and Rec.709 as output, then I was able to color in a satisfatctory way for me (less than beginner here). I will try this method as well!

I been watching your video for long time now but haven’t seen you colograding Zlog footages. I’m sure a lot people will be happy especially zcam shooters like me
This video is absolutely awesome! I use Zcam and there’s no log profile with davinci. You’ve just literally made my brain explode with how simplistic you’ve made it!! I’m still learning how to color grade and not very good yet, but seeing this really showed me less is more! Thanks! I’m truly loving your tutorials thus far!

Nice video - seems like your output color space on the Alexa material ended up with DRAGONcolor2 instead of rec709 - but apparently it was not noticeable in the image
Awesome tutorial, super helpful! Would you consider making a tutorial about how to grade a project that is graded on a Mac but destined to be displayed on a Microsoft Windows computer (since the color space is so different in terms of gamma, etc.) ?

Nice one Qazi. In the CST if we just set the input color space and gamma to any arbitrary camera, which visually looks good, will that be another way to tackle this problem or is that a wrong workflow?

I need more info like this. I feel like I’m missing out on one of the most important tools (color space transform) due to my camera being unsupported.
I’m on a Z Cam E2-F6. I would actually love a video covering that camera as well as other unsupported cameras like the DJI Mavic, Fuji F-Log, Kinefinity. Etc.
