- Matthew Perry was a very talented and popular actor from the tv show Friends. He was laid to rest and his grave is currently unmarked at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills. Matthew Perry passed away in October of 2023 at his home in Pacific Palisades.

When I see Matt Perry and Robin Williams ,I feel an overwhelming sense of sadness ,they were just gone too soon as with many other well loved celebrities.
I think Robin was cremated and his ashes scattered in the ocean.

God doesn't bless Suicide.
His death hurt my heart. I read his book just after his passing and it was illuminating, but devastating.
As a recovering alcoholic myself, I understand the hold that alcohol can have, and for him to finally find his footing and begin to be able to help others was inspiring. I wish he could’ve had more years to do more good, but that was not God’s plan for him. May he continue to help others like him even in death, and may he forever rest in peace.

I had recently finished his book shortly before his passing. He was and will remain my favorite actor. My heart is still broken 💔

@@kristinewood7030 yes we played in charity events at the Bike Casino. I'm like you I hear the theme song and think he is still I've and reality hits, when you see the Hollywood sign the cemetery is behind the area
You're so lucky to have known Matthew. I'm a fan from the UK, and what strikes me about Matthew is how down to earth he seemed to be in real life and how he was just a normal guy. That's rare in Hollywood.
@@autumnleaves-77 Victoria Pratt even was downtown earth as well Michico Nawaski is a friend of mine too down to earth as well she was in the movies with Jakiie Chann to but Matthew Perry somtimes would joke like his character to me, for instance when I got knocked out of the tournament he would say,"You still in it: I said no ,he laughed like his character, then I say hey? Are you in ot? ,then he would say No No No No No I'm out you freak show!! I just stood there laughing, I live in Downey ca I'm like 20 min away from Hollywood on a clear day I can see the Hollywood sign ,my grandfather was in the movies too Shirley Temple movies, I have his movie clip on my channel and I'm so grateful to own his childhood home that wS from 1941 alot of old actors used to visit his parents my great grandparents back in the day
I would love to go pay my respects someday. I also wanna get the tshirts with him and the guy who played Gunther as a tribute

Coincidentally, Michael Clarke Duncan and Matthew Perry starred together in The Whole Nine Yards. Not only are they buried in the same cemetery, but also in the same sanctuary and close to one another too. Both were the best of the best in Hollywood, and may God bless their hearts.
Robin Williams and Matthew Perrys deaths hurt my heart alot, hurts even more when i see them both in an episode of FRIENDS it makes me cry

Thank you so much for checking on his name plaque for us. I was suprised that you did not like the show. They had so many amazing guest stars over the years. Tom Selleck, Robin Williams, Billy Crystal, Bruce Willis, Brad Pitt, and the list goes on and on. Look up the clip on here of Robin and Billy's cameo. They ad libed it and no matter how many times I see it, I still laugh until the tears roll. I did not watch the show while it was on TV. I think ER was on the other channel and I could not miss it. I started seeing it in reruns and enjoyed it so much that I bought the series set. Yes, that is the couch from the coffee house. I listened to his book here on You Tube. It was actually him reading it. I knew he had some issues, but his story just shocked me. I would have never guessed how tragic and sad his life was. RIP Matthew. The One Where We Lost a Friend.
I should go back and watch it now. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an episode.
@@FreyzelProductionsif you watch the entire series, you’ll see his weight vastly fluctuate from season to season. He was deep into his addictions during filming. As he says in his book, “If I’m carrying weight, it’s alcohol. If I’m skinny, it’s pills.” He went from a low of 128 pounds to a high of around 225.
Watching friends now after his death and every time I look at him , I can't describe my feeling, the pain that he is not among us , y didn't I watched friends earlier 💔😭

I liked Matthew Perry, too. Although, I enjoyed the work of his brother, Luke, much more! ❤ Luke's grave is here in Tennessee! He was buried on his ranch in a decomposing casket with mushroom spores. He did it naturally, just as he lived his life. He was modest, and from what I understand... kind and respectful to everyone he met. He was a regular around the small town located near the ranch. Luke preferred to be your average Joe! ❤
I believe Mathew was much the same way. After receiving drug addiction therapy and recovering, Mathew wanted others to get help and stay sober. ❤ Avery kind thing to do for others who couldn't afford a program. Mathew would absorb the costs and make sure they got what they needed! ❤ It is a very honorable thing to do for others!

Yes, in my la trip I stopped by there in 1989. The first grave I saw was Liberace, than Stan laurel and Andy gibb. Stunning stunning place!!!

I wonder if the friends cast have a pact to be buried in that same wall. It looks empty around him. My grandmother is buried in the hills part of that cemetery. When it's good weather like it is this week it's so beautiful.
Maybe they are likly family but I think they would probly be buried with their moms dads and other family’s.
There just might be some form of connection in relation to this; film/TV actor John Aniston, who portrayed the character of Victor Kiriakis on the NBC soap opera series "Days of Our Lives", and is the father of Jennifer, is interred w/in the very same cemetery, although not in the immediate area of Matthew Perry (he's over @ another section, unless the gravesite happens to actually be a cenotaph).
So sad 😞 RIP 🙏 Matthew.
I must confess im 40 and only just doing a marathon of Friends now. Of course i watched as a teenager but i didn't really get the jokes. What made me fall in love with Matty was his performance in The Whole Nine Yards and its sequel with Bruce Willis who i suspect we will lose soon. He was a stand up guy ... and even now I wish i had met him. Maybe in the next life. RIP ❤❤

My nephew and me were making a list of places wed love to visit from the fallout universe and this was a spot i thought of to add and im really surprised not one person has gone there and dropped a cap or two for Matt.
There is a possibility that Matthew Perry’s gravesite will forever be unmarked. See, it’s up to the family to decide whether or not they want the gravesite to be marked. Sometimes, the family, or even the person themselves will decide that they just don’t want the gravesite to be marked for reasons ranging from privacy to indifference. Take Nipsey Hussle for example. He died five years ago, and is buried at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills just like Matthew Perry. Even though it’s been five years since Nipsey’s death, his gravesite is still unmarked. The point is, based on how young Matthew was when he died, and the fact that he didn’t have a wife or children, I find it very unlikely that his gravesite will be marked.
Remember the episode of friends where ECKLES dies .chandler doesn't want to die alone and in real life matt perry actually dies alone .

either could've been the only place that his family could afford to pay or it was the only available place because sometimes people buy burial plots beforehand. another possibility, idk if it's the same in the US but with here in my country, the cemetery is usually the one who pick it

Matthew Perry is in a crypt. A crypt is big enough for a coffin. But there are some sections of Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills where the walls have vaults that are designed for holding cremated remains. These vaults are called niches, and they’re smaller than crypts
